Sightseeing Log (couldnt find a section for this specific question)

having a really hard time getting the ARR sightseeing spots done. Between work and family there is little to no hope of effectively getting my sightseeing log filled for the ARR spots. The requirements are just too narrow. Its bad enough to deal with Specific times locations and jump puzzles but then factoring in the weather conditions in the mix and it becomes an exercise in futility. I parked my sprite from 4 am to 530 pm all day on my day off just hoping to be there and get the right weather pattern and it never came. I needed clear skies and yet hour after hour it kept going back and forth from rain windy and cloudy and when it was clear skies it was never in the time slot i needed. IS there a better way to do this? Why is ARR set so difficult when HW and SB are simplified and less frustrating. And will there ever be a simplification of the ARR vistas, at the very least, removing the weather conditions from the requirements. Ive been at this for over a month trying to get 1 through 20 ARR don't to unlock achievements and the painters artwork. please help!

There's no need to camp. Skywatcher npcs in the main cities can tell you the next few weathers for each zone and the weather changes always happen at 12:00 am, 8:00 am, and 4:00 pm Eorzea time.

As for why the later ones were made easier I guess the devs were responding to complaints that the ARR ones were too annoying.

The paintings are tradable so you can try asking in Shout or a server only PF if anyone can grab the ones you want. I've got my log done and get paintings for players that ask for them in the Novice Network sometimes.

I can see why it was deemed annoying. I did start using the weather watchers the problem is im still having the same issue with the sights. I use the weather watchers and try to go with the forcast but several times when i would get to the spot Like The Vista at The Ruins of Sildih in Central Thanalan. The moment it turned 8 AM which is the time i needed the FOG would shift to another weather patter and i stand there having wasted time being there. All the teleportation around is costing me thousands in gil and its starting to frustrate me. The weather patterns are not lining up with all the vistas. and the weather watchers forecast seems to shift at 12 noon and 12 midnight Eorzea time so its not like I can know when the patterns gonna shift midway the 12 hour mark.
As for buying the paintings, 1) i don't want to pay someone else for something i should be able to get myself and 2) buying the paintings doesn't give me the achievements i want.

Thanks man but i already know the times weather patterns and locations of the vistas im trying to get what i need is the weather patterns not to shift when the hour arrives when the forecast leads me to believe its gonna be stable. the weather watchers shift at 12 noon and 12 midnight from what i can see and they dont tell me squat about when and or if the weather is gonna change midway the 12 hour mark and leave me hanging.

Whoa ! wait! does this site show in real time when the vistas are ready???? and if so is it showing for my server specifically cause if the servers all all different then its still not useful but if its showing me my server too ... ok im gonna check this out if its working the way i think it is and is accurate to my server, I could kiss you. I wont LOL but you get my level of joy.

Well..... tried your site, i was really looking forward to getting my sight seeing done. But either it use to be accurate or its just not accurate for my server but either way i waited at the leather working guild site in Gridania where it told me it would be cloudy in two hours and when the time came it was clear skies. then the site said one more hour so i came back an hour later and still clear skies. now its saying another hour and it will be cloudy which is also confirmed by the weather watcher but since its gonna be another in game 24 hour period I'm worried that the clouds will fade before 8 am which as i said makes this weather specific garbage just annoying af. wasting another day off on this crap when it should've been made simpler like the other sight seeing spots were in HW and SB.

Are you sure you have your in game clock set to Eorzea time? It can also display server time and local time.

Yeah, I got it on game time and im sitting here watching the clock on the site page and the weather watcher and its pretty much hit and miss i managed to get two more but i had to wait another hour before the website was right. The time would come up on the website but in game the weather pattern wasn't the right one and then the website would reset for another hour. Right now im in Middle Lanocia for the Seasong grotto but its 5 pm not am while its raining and i need am and yet the website says it should be 5 am and raining now.

Like i said its hit and miss. sometimes accurate some times i have to wait another hour or so Im hoping its gonna be right in the next 30 minutes looks good but ive been fooled before.
