There's already going to be a train of some sort in 2.0 in Northern Thanalan leading into what is more than likely Mor Dhona if you look at the concept art for 2.0 Northern Thanalan. It is, however, Garlean, and leads from what I assume is the Garlean stronghold to Mor Dhona for some unspecified reason.

If you saw what happens in Mor Dhona in the L46 Main Quest, there IS a good reason for a train to run from Garlean Stronghold to Mor Dhona

Yeah, i was just looking at that. Think its the first time I've seen all the translations on one image. Very interesting, roads, trains, warp gates, Mor Dhona is set for big change.

I do not want instant raid ; ; I would like to see people on the outside and people looking in on the inside. I want to see bandits riding on chocobos and people on the outside could attack them if they want.

As long as the server can manage it, and (as you said) there are ways to get on the train while in motion so it actually makes a difference, rather than just people seeing a fight through the windows of a train that only takes around ten seconds to pass them. If having it uninstanced takes away a large portion of the fight capabilities and entertainment for relatively little in alternatives, I'll go for instanced. If I can the inside full entertainment and un-instanced fun capabilities, I'll take both. Just looking for the larger total value here.

I can imagine, in a future expansion, a Garlean train station in Ala Mhigo with tracks going through to the continent of Garlemald.
The game could probably do with a road too, lol.
