I would agree if some people weren't so salty about everything when it comes to pick up. When playing with randoms don't come in with high expectations. Always found it odd about the people joining a pug and expect a good/perfect run every time is all.
There's nothing wrong with expecting a semblance of competence in high-end parties. Even in PUGs.

Guess I always expect the worse in people might be the problem. Makes it easier for me to deal and let it go when stuff hits the fan. Surprised you expect competence from strangers online when I can't even trust people IRL to do their job well.
People expect that if youre joining a party that ISNT a learning party to know the content and how to play the class. This isnt just for Savage, its for everything. If youre new to tanking, asking people who MT and what not for advice and feedback is on you. If you dont know how to tank and join a group looking to clear and you hose things up for them, thats on you. If you want to participate in higher level content, be expected to be held to a higher standard. If youre just looking to face roll stuff and not care, there's plenty of content in the game for that. This shouldnt be shocking or unexpected to anyone who has actual consideration for other people.
People dont want to spend hours wiping because people cant be bothered to try and play their class right or do the mechanics right. It's the groups time too, so if players are just screwing things up out of ego or pride, those player's are being selfish.
I get the strong feeling that most statics wouldnt even bother asking for a Parse from you. Theyd get the vibe that youre just not fun to play with. Which is a note to everyone: You may be 99th percentile of your class, but if youre a complete Jerk, most statics wont take you. While people have goals and want to accomplish things, this is still a game, and that means people will only want to do that kidn of content that they can get a long with. Statics will take someone in their 50s and 60s that mesh really well with the group over someone in the 90s who irritates, and frustrates everyone in the group.
