With the "glass bathroom stalls" thing, I was referring less to FFLogs specifically and more on the whole "if you want privacy you must have something to hide" mentality.

Now yeah, I agree, if you're down with the flu, your cat's on fire or grandma's in a tree, then yeah you probably SHOULDN'T be looking for a top tier, all-clear savage party at that precise moment. But people do... and judging someone *solely* by what's in a log file somewhere is neither a fair nor accurate representation of them as a player.

You would think that players would have enough sense to segment themselves when it comes to joining a PF for learning/practice/clear/farm - but sadly they don't, so I can see a tool like FFLogs being used to try and discern that, even though it's certainly not without its drawbacks.

Opting into it would be ideal. That way, they still get the data and a player's personal information remains private if they want it to be. For those that choose to be anonymous, you could just have their class role displayed -- Monk, Dragoon, etc. This way, everyone gets what they want.
