You can use the engage button to force your squadron to attack the same enemy as you. Though, even when you use disengage, your squadron should follow you. Maybe it's a bug.

iam thinking it might be a bug, i dont think they follow when disengage , takes time to keep doing engage, and disengage, plus when you do limit break, shouldnt best in squad use it, or is it the person running it?

They all limit break when I use it. The PC starts the Limit Break, points at the boss, and then all three of them limit break. I've never had an issue with them standing around, when you disengage they should come to you.

Mine are usually aggressive. I even do long pulls with my squadron. Just wait until the tank has hate, and then run ahead and order them to engage a mob in the next room.

They should engage just as soon as you hit "engage." I usually hit engage first, then attack. When on "independent" setting, it is almost impossible for my squadron members to die.

The squadron is a little fragile at first until they start getting buffs, then they're almost OP. I put my tank in defensive mode, the healer in independent and the DPS in offensive mode. If you put an ARC in offensive mode it's ridiculous.

Some things you're just going to have to live with. They don't understand boss mechanics, and the hardly ever get out of the way of AOEs. But when they're buffed up, it doesn't matter after a certain point.
