lol, there is nothign in this world, that is not complicated, would we stop alwaqys at somethign, only because it might be complicated, then we wouldnt progress at all in this life.
We woulldnt even be, what we are today, if mankind would have alwasys stopped at something, because it sounded complicated.
The benefit is called character progression, because thats somethign that FF14 is completely LACKING OFF TOTALLY.
This game becomes immediately the very moment you reach max level completely bland and boring, because it offers absolutely no character progression beyond that point, with that you could improve your character and build individuality, because somethign like this simple doesn't exist at all in FF14 (yet sadly)
If you played like me for over a decade GW1 and GW2 especially, then you will especially understand in comparison with FF14, about what I'm talking here.
The only thign one might call character progression here eventually is the hunt for weapon skins - like especially of those relic, eureka, anima ect. weapons, which would be basically FF14's equivalent to GW2s legendary weapons, but that was it then.
The poiunt of my concept here was up to show up, how much potential basically lies in FF14 for improved character progression, if SE increases the caps anyways with each expansion, at least until we reach 100 when I think its best that they should stop doing this. Also because its FF's classical endgame level cap (99+ 1 starter level)
The benefit would be, also that classes would receive more depth and gameplay improvements, makign them over the course of their progression line more fun to play and depthful, especialyl also too, if SE would change the class change from the change of the weapon to a class change via using different head gears, enablign this way classes to use multiple different weapons, so that they could have also different weapon skill sets/skill set ups, which is ABSOLUTELY NECCESSARY, if FF14 should ever have something like class individuality and build individuality, so that not everyone in the endgame is exactly the same.
3x you may guess, why FF14 has for so long absolutely no success with their PVP, while GW2 compared to that had it up to a certain point, because there you have class individuality. There you can use traits, to actually change the effects of your skills, there you have equipment upgrades, that exactually can change how your class plays and aren't just only some ultra borign tiny stat boosts only that basically have only such a marginal effect, that you don#t recognize them at all, except maybe those for more MP as a healer and HP for everythign else.
I wish FF14 and GW2 could fuse together, because then we would basically have in regard of gameplay mechanics the truly perfect mmorpg on the market ^^, because they make exactly opposite right and wrong, what the other does lol
Certain things that FF14 makes perfect, does GW2 terrible or doesnt even have it..
Certain thigns that GW2 does perfect and is superior in it like combat and character progression, makes FF14 not or is terrible in it, due to no individualism in this game, aside of fashion xD
I hope this post made clearer now, where I'm coming from ^^
