    Don't have enough space for update? (PS4)

    Trying to log into the game and it's saying I don't have enough space for to download update. I have over 50 gigs free. Um what?!

    When I read the error message it says I need to delete something on my PS4 over 1.75 gigs. Again, I have over 50 gigs free on this system.

    Weird, looks like it's starting to update now that I deleted an entire game application which was worth 73gigs....I don't quite get why I had to do this as I initially had 50+gigs free. I guess FFXIV on PS4 doesn't want your console go over a certain threshold?

    Can I get some follow up info from a mod on here?

    haveing the same issue had 49 gigs free said i needed to delete 1.68 gigs deleted one of my games and it started downloading sad that i need 80 gigs to download an 82mb file that has now been coping for 20 min

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    If I recall, the PS4 won't let you download a game unless you have double the amount of space available (so for a 30GB game, you would need 60GB of free space). It may have this same requirement for the update (meaning you may need double the total download in free space).
