This makes me a little less apprehensive about the bag system (partly because I didn't understand it during my trial run of WoW). Thank you for this newsHey everyone!
We Just wanted to give you some insight about the current plans for inventory management:
In 2.0, items will be stored in a 5x5 bag. When viewing the contents of the bag, it is possible to display them in a list with the most important items sorted on top.
In addition, when repairing items, the list will display items that can be repaired at the crafter's current level. The items in worst condition will be displayed at the top.
We may also consider additional sorting functions if there are enough requests, so please let us know what you think.![]()

Does this mean that there will only be 25 slots now? 5x5 bag sounds like 1 bag with 25 slots. Please clarify what this new inventory management system is. Thanks Okipuit.Hey everyone!

4 bags with 25 slots each, 100 slots total.
The bags will open separately and be arranged in a 5x5 grid.
And allow us to repair our own damaged gear even if we are wearing it please.
5x5 seems like very little inventory space....Hey everyone!

& are you still going to cut down the slots inthe retainers?
Could you please smack the developers up the side of the head on my behalf if this is the case! Then get them to look at the number of items involved in the game, from the items you get from DOL, DOH, battle. ~materia & catalyst.
Also if dated recipes are being removed in 2.0 ~ you will need multipul sets of 2~6 different items from both DOL & battle to make 1 item, just to start leveling up your DOH. & those items from the new recipes take up 1 slot each time you make them since they dont stack.
Also if no changes are done to the current way they level up you will need to do an average of around 60 crafts (at around lvl 25 just to get 1 level) (without any buffs as its the best balanced way to look at it) & now times that by 6 or 7 different crafts your leveling. you do the maths on items needed + item produced & slots used on top of a already full inventory.
Arguably you dont need to level them all up at the same time but in the same respect you should be able to.
Then you have DOL tools, clothes, DOH tools clothes, Battle weapons clothes classes & jobs & also as your leveling them up you have items from 2 different leveled weapons/tools you need to carry until you level up.
More info would be nicebecause as it stands 2.0 it doesnt look good. & as it is pre 2.0 it could be better.
