    Alphascape V1.0 Soundtrack

    While I do commend the remix of the battle music for Final Fantasy I is great, it felt out of place with this battle. After all, it is Chaos that is being fought, not a random encounter or a different boss. I was expecting the Final Boss music to be played, or at the very least one of the boss battle themes. Why was the normal battle encounter chosen?

    Personally, I play either the Final Boss theme (PSX version) or an Orchestral Remix of a boss battle theme that I found that sets a better mood for fighting Chaos.

    originally there was only one battle music for FFI. The other versions were for other remakes/versions of the game. it's staying true to the roots of FF by using that battle theme.

    ^This. Final Battle was a new track Uematsu composed specifically for the PS1 remake of FFI, it was not in the original NES version (which only had the regular Battle as it's theme, so this is in keeping with Chaos's origins.

    And before you pass judgement, the Dissidia games have never used Final Battle either at all, it's only been remixes of Battle or an entirely new theme for Chaos (given he was originally Dissidia's big bad, but I digress...).
