So, the most popular tactic I see for light farming in Pyros is to camp in the bee area and run back and forth between the two dragons for the chain.

In my experience, that's a bad way of doing it and I've found 4 bees/1 dragon to be a far better way of doing it for several reasons.

1) Don't have to worry about dragon spawns. Far too often, you have to grab a bee while waiting for a dragon to respawn and sometimes that bee is on the 5th/10th/15th/etc. part of the chain. This isn't an issue with 4 bees and 1 dragon as you'll always have one.

2) Speed. Bees are squishy. Killing 4 bees is faster than killing 4 dragons, which means the chain moves faster and you hit the big chains quicker. Much more efficient.

3) Less chance of adds. You're already grabbing bees, so the population is being kept down a bit, which means less of them randomly aggroing a party member.

4) People are less likely to run away with the dragon. It's dead most of the time while killing the bees anyway and even if someone does pull it, there's still the other dragon to grab.

I've literally had more issues trying to get a 30 chain off dragon > dragon chaining than from 4 bee > dragon and seem to gain much more light from the latter.

So please, if you see your party doing nothing but dragons, explain the issues to to them. It'll make life much easier on you. And if you really don't want to deal with people stealing your dragon, go to the minotaurs. They aren't as squishy as bees, but are the same element as the dragon, so you deal more damage to them anyway, making it mostly a wash--- and no one really goes through that area.
