I mean all the ARR trials are soloable now, that drastically reduces the number of people doing them in PF, furthermore I feel like you're waiting for other people to make parties instead of making them yourself.

I just started doing WT again recently and I've had 0 issues finishing it in one session regardless of playtime. I've been gardening and working on desynthesis, so I primarily go after the Poetics or Mendacity Tomes. I've been completing WT weekly since 4.45 came out, but which day I do it on has been a bit random... it's still an afterthought usually as my primary source of tomes is still Roulettes (I queue as whatever is "in need" so I get instant queues).
Regardless, if I don't find any of the things I need in PF, then I make my own and they still fill up relatively quickly. The longest I've had to wait for my own PF to fill for a WT trial is 15 minutes since 4.45 released. I can also solo almost all of the level 50 content unsync'd on any of the Tanks now... and I've actually done that a few times each week. NOT because PF wasn't filling though, but because I've found that having more ppl in some trials (f.e. Leviathan, Ifrit, and Ramuh) can make them more difficult. If it takes multiple wipes to clear any of those... then I probably could have solo'd them faster.

1) End of patch downtime
2) Stir because of 4.5/5.0 announcements
3) New games, holiday season, lots of folks busy
4) Could just be bad timing: nobody wants what's on WT bc they have the tome gear or raid drops and there's new crafting gear dropping in 4.5
5) Our FC has been more active than ever, meaning we don't PF anything because we've got 4/8/12/24 people to to whatever we want. Others could be in the same boat.
6) More people using DF: we took some newbies through Omega last night (all 3 sets) and we never waited more than like 6m for a pop.

Is there? I thought they were talking about 5.0 when they showed crafting sets. I'll have to look over that part of the live letter from fanfest again i guess...1) End of patch downtime

EDIT
Yah the new gear concepts they showed during the Keynote at NA Fanfest were for ShadowBringers, aka 5.0.
I'm not aware of any new crafting/gathering sets being added for 4.5 or 4.55 unless I'm overlooking the announcement. Please link.

I wasn't even talking about that - that's the new crafting AF stuff from 5.0. I'm talking about the Ironworks Crafting/Gathering gear equivalent for 4.0. The "carbonweave" stuff came out in 4.3, I see no reason they won't be following up with the blue crafted set. It'll be the BiS for crafting when 5.0 hit, since the 5.0 stuff will be higher than 4.4 stuff, which the 4.3 crafting gear was good for.Is there? Now, don't get me wrong, I'm fully melded so it won't bother me if we don't get the higher tier but I don't expect them to deviate from the norm since they haven't yet.

They've already deviated from the norms established in the previous expansions quite a bit.I wasn't even talking about that - that's the new crafting AF stuff from 5.0. I'm talking about the Ironworks Crafting/Gathering gear equivalent for 4.0. The "carbonweave" stuff came out in 4.3, I see no reason they won't be following up with the blue crafted set. It'll be the BiS for crafting when 5.0 hit, since the 5.0 stuff will be higher than 4.4 stuff, which the 4.3 crafting gear was good for.

For example, the class-exclusive sets were tied to scrips in SB, whereas they were crafted in ARR and HW.
Despite color discrepancies, I believe we've received the same amount of sets so far in SB though, so I don't anticipate anymore crafting/gathering gear this expansion.
Initial Sets:
Chimerical Felt/Serpentskin in HW, lv.60 no star
Twinsilk/Gazelleskin in SB, lv.70 no star
Mid-tier Sets:
Carbonweave in HW, lv.60 2 star
Ala Mhigan in SB, lv.70 2 star
Final Sets:
Artisan/Forager in ARR required Ixali BST tribe items to craft, lv.50 4 star
Ironworks in HW required Moogle BST tribe items to craft, lv.60 3 star
The last SB sets added, Onishi/Yamashi, required Namazu BST tribe items to craft lv.70 3 star

No, we hit last tier of everything, I do not know what makes you think we are in carbonweave. If you take a look how the crafting and gathering sets are made, and compare it to ironworks, you see they are made exactly the same way, item from beast tibe to refine, so on.I wasn't even talking about that - that's the new crafting AF stuff from 5.0. I'm talking about the Ironworks Crafting/Gathering gear equivalent for 4.0. The "carbonweave" stuff came out in 4.3, I see no reason they won't be following up with the blue crafted set. Also we are on the last raid tier, meaning there shouldn't be any DoW/DoM gear cept maybe mid tier gear that is on the equivalent of sky pirate stuff of HW (the 255 gear) So all we have left before 5.0 is the last 24 man, buffing relics, maybe a npc to upgrade DoW/DoM gear (like the i350>i360 upgrade) maybe some glam and housing items.
It is the same cycle, i doono what you expect.
I’ve never tried to solothem before. Is it possible as a level 373 drg even though we don’t have as much as other jobs in terms of self healing?

Never tried soloing them as DRG, but your avatar says you have PLD at 70. All of the ARR Ex primals are soloable by a lvl 70 PLD in basic AF gear. Might take you a while and you'll have to pay attention to some mechanics, but it's completely doable.
