I don't think the bust slider has much of an effect on most outfits. It's obvious on the starter gear, but otherwise? Well... Here's my Highlander wearing the level 50 Bard shirt.
She's a 46% on the bust slider.
Edit: No sense complaining about it, Wynn. You've could've played a Highlander if it meant that much to you. Hjordis is also six feet tall, so I'd say her thickness is merely proportionate to that. Even though I was going more for willowy...

The waist-twist seems to be the extreme end of a running issue with how character models bend into certain positions.
I wasn't trying to make it noticable in this picture, but if you look at where the legs join the body, they're practically folded flat. It seems that the fronts of the legs stay in the same place as the standing pose, instead of deliberately-clipping upwards into the hip section.
I've noticed the same issue with my male Au Ra in a similar sitting position.
I'm not sure if it happens with all gear, or just certain models.
I'm sorry, Wynn; now that I've gotten some sleep and I'm firing on all cylinders again, it's clear that you were joking. Sorry for the misunderstanding, there.

So many silly mounts in this game, starting with Chocobos. If I ever get a nice, plain flying horse, It'll be my only mount.
You can get a white unicorn by leveling a Conjurer to 30 and doing a simple quest. It's the only mount I've used since getting it.
