    The devs saw people riding the NM Train in Anemos and deliberately designed Pagos so that doing that will be nigh impossible. It's not until they saw the abysmal participation rates that they backpedaled on some of that.
    That's the single most extreme opposite to "listening to player feedback" they could've done

    I would only accept a second iteration of Eureka if it simply replaced our current open world content. Basically, they overhaul the FATE system and let you muck around with Pyros abilities. I do not want another relic tied to it. Can it be an option if applied to open world content? Sure. But locking the relic behind another instanced piece of content would be foolish.

    Now yes, maybe they will get all the kinks out of Eureka come 5.1, but I simply don't have faith they will get it on the first try. And we're long past the point of waiting almost a year for the devs to make an idea, possibly, maybe, work okay-ish.

    Point me to the feedback asking for mandatory rng filled bunny fates, another light grind and endless rng weapon stats?

    Also why are none of Pyros' positive changes applied to Pagos, the roadblock to even see Pyros that everyone must pass through? Pagos is still slow to level, low NM spawn rates, long light grind, harsh aetheryte requirements, punishing map design, 0.2% drop rewards from boxes.

    And where's the level sync?

    There are a lot of differences so I will try to just pick out the major ones. Things in Eureka but not in Diadem include: magia board and elemental offense/defense, independent leveling system, bunny treasure hunt, logos manipulator, enemy mutations, enemy chain bonuses, in-duty party joining, no flight and the map is all land, no mission structure.

    So I think Eureka could have been a cross between Mario Kart and Metroid and they would still be accused of lazily copy-pasting Diadem instead of making something different. Come to think of it, there was quite a lot of innovation in Stormblood patch series; Rival Wings is wildly different from old pvp modes, Msq added role-playing (play as other characters) and we get BLU + Masked Carnival soon.
