The "We'll Look Into" Glamour Question

One of the problems with this though is the constant spam of text that shows up in chat saying "X takes on the appearance of Y". If they remove this or give Glamour text it's own filter that would go a long way, along with giving us more Glamour Plates in total. By having more plates and being able to link them without the spam could allow players to have more customisation options akin to what OP is suggesting.

A possible workaround for this, if you switch classes more often than you need to reapply the plates, could be to have a "normal" gear set not linked to anything, and a "switching" gearset linked to the plate, that you only equip when you want to change the glamour? But yes, being able to block those system messages would be good.

On a somewhat related note, I was really disappointed when Yoshi asked which of the three features he mentioned was more important to everyone and the crowd chose extra glamour plate slots over the ability to use them outside of cities.

I guess when that eagerly anticipated patch finally drops, glamour plates will continue primarily being a crafting class asset for me then - unless of course I am doing Namazu quests; in which case it just goes back to being worthless again.

I thought more plates and usable everywhere both got about the same amount of cheering. More storage definitely lost.

We will eventually get many more plates, vastly expanded storage for glamour items and the ability to use it in more locations. The thing they were asking for was prioritization, which the audience has given. My biggest question is how long till its all done, hopefully we will see all of this before 6.0 drops in the Summer of 2020.
