How do you fill the endgame?

I guess this has been asked a million times, but fortunately this is a question with with an evolving answer.

So what do you do?

Raid?
Level crafters?
Level other classes?
Grind for money and work on housing?
Eureka?
Annoy your free company mates?
PvP?
...?

Well, there was a time where I wanted to do Savage and Ultimate. But after several months of pugging O7S, that desire began to lessen. And then, right when I was learning the last phase of O8S, 4.4 dropped and everyone stopped doing it. I asked friends before and after the patch if they could help, but they already had their clears and weren't concerned about it.

So, Raiding has basically become a back burner concern for me. I'm working on O10S now and actually have a static this time, but I don't feel motivated about it. I'd like to go back and clear O8S for the plane and I'd like to clear O12S for the Omega mount, but I'm feeling unconfident such will ever happen (partially due to the DC split that's going to break up my group) and I kinda just have a sour grapes feeling about it lately.

Really, at this point, I'm only collecting all Triple Triad cards and EX mounts, while also getting housing decorations, doing ARR Sightseeing Log, and trying to gear up my jobs which I've gotten all to 70.

I should probably try and work on being a better Tank, but I'm just not too motivated in XIV lately after the aforementioned Savage thing. Mainly I'm just looking forward to Blue Mage so I have something to pour some levels into so it feels like I'm doing something.

I just afk and help people in partyfinder getting clears. Theres nothing better than clearing Chaos with 6/8 new people after almost 7 hours of prog.

For this entire game, mine has been:

Attempting to master more than two star crafting... *sigh*
Maxing all combat classes
Slowly making my house fancy, but I suck at that.

Filling 10 retainers with 20/20 items to sell and making sure to adjust the selling price at least once a day.

1. Try to reach gil cap. I enjoy playing the MB and coming up with, new,cheaper and efficient ways to make loads of gil.
2. Do unsynced runs of old primals for mounts,glam/crafting mats
3. Do unsynced old raids for glam/crafting mats etc
4. Try to clear POTD/HOH solo
5. Overworld side-quests/levequests/achievements etc
6. Come up with new glam outfits

The entire question of "How do you fill end-game?" does not compute for me. It implies that there is nothing to do because I've already finished everything.

This is completely determined by how easily satisfied one is. If you only care about clearing a raid once then having done with it, then you might get bored. In that case I would suggest seeking out a new game with lots of new bosses you can challenge once and be done with them. Same for people who just want to collect all the items.

As for me? I never finish, because I play to learn. I will keep on learning. I will keep on challenging myself, and I will find creative ways to do so. The only time I get bored and want to quit is when I get depressed by how few other people play for the same reasons I do.

When I get UCoB-cleared people joining my O11S solo heal runs just to troll me, I can't help but lose faith in MMO communities as a whole.

I clear content as it's new, though I have yet to clear most EX primals. So I work on my house, have been leveling my crafters and just hang out with a few online friends.

1. I craft. I completed crafting log, which takes a lot of time. I also craft to earn gil or for myself and friends.
2. I fish. I also completed fishing log. Good luck with that
3. I collect mounts & minions & emotes & hairstyles & bardings & TT cards. Being a collector needs a lot of grinding and time too so you can do that.
4. You can aim for mentor roulettes or tank mounts etc. It involves number 3 but these are on their own a grind.
5. I have a house and i decorate it patch to patch. I always check new added items.
6. You can also go and collect glamours.
7. You can raid. I tried but too much stress for me but raiding is an option.
8.You can collect ARR & HW & SB relics.
9. You can involve in your FC crafting and craft for your fc and its projects (airships etc)
10. If you didn't, ofc you can level every job in the game.
11. You can aim for achievements and their rewards.
12. And ultimately you can troll in Limsa.

There is infinite things to do in this game if you aren't a type of person who finds "nothing" to do.
