My own thoughts on Blue Mage

So, adding into the many Blue Mage threads on the forum already, I wanted to state my own opinions.

With Blue Mage being a "Limited Job" it's like a beta job. Perhaps as SE watches how the preformed parties utilize blue mage they could collect the data, analyze it, and ultimately turn it into a full fledged job.

Basically seeing what abilities work well in a premade group setting versus those that don't and how it could one day not be a "limited job." I view it as a very good support job as well.

It's a nice thought and I'd be much more happy if it was true, but it has no basis in any fact. The developers haven't said or event hinted at anything like this. The only hope for blue mage as a full job is that the developer's see the negative impact the limited job news has had and change their plans INTO what you've described, but by all indication it was never their plan.

True. They did say they have no plans of making a full fledged job, but looking over all the other Blue Mage threads on the forums, they might reconsider in the future when jobs get readjusted again.
