Fatal DirectX Error 11000002

It started happening since 4.45 and it appears it is only happening in Alphascape raids (or at least such is my luck) randomly crashes entire client with random time, it may happen twice in 10 minutes or not at all in an entire hour.

Up until recently I was getting this exact problem, try and do anything to strenuous and poof I'd Dx crash. Eventually I figured out my problem... My Graphics card was severely over-heating (the pump for teh water cooling part had screwed up). Changed graphics cards and no more Dx crashes since. May be worth downloading something like "Open Hardware Monitor" to keep an eye on your temps.

It is not the case with me, my temperatures are not reaching even 80C and I play games which are pushing the temperatures to the max of 87+- for entire gameplay with no issues.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Do you notice any pattern to the crashes? Does this same error happen if you use DirectX 9 mode?

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
