Hi. The crafting system is great/unique but there are a few quirks that make it annoying as hell. Could I suggest the following please:

1. Crafting windows, bags and inventory - don't auto close windows or reset selections when engaging/disengaging crafting.

2. Save the last selection and reopen to the same place when crafting next engaged - very annoying have to re-find what you were doing.

3. Disposing of items/fetching items from inventory. Cannot do why crafting? Remove this. There's no reason why a person engaged in an activity can't reach for an item, or toss something aside.

4. After selecting 'search for an item by crafting method' give the user a back button - to multiple depths if needed also, so they can drill into the ingredient they need to craft, and then back out to where they started.

5. Remove the 'Hide completed recipes' from being a setting to a button at the top - i.e. at a click toggle on hide/unhide completed recipes.

6. Add the same hide/unhide function to the gathering log.

7. If the user experiences a DC - for the love of god, don't trash their ingredients!

You may be against this, but it would also be great to be able to craft using ingredients stored in your choco saddlebag, rather than having to fetch them out. Given the realistic feel you are going for, I could see why you may be against this however.
