    HEADING: Alma bas Lexentale

Jenomis realized that it was more than just chance that saw his second child a girl, and so did not hesitate to name this fated daughter Alma, after Alma Durai, sister of Ramza, true hero of the Zodiac Brave Story.
Phrasing pretzels might have ended up with the wrong surname between the commas. If Jenomis is Arazlam Durai, then his daughter would be Alma Durai, and the sister of the true hero of the Zodiac Brave Story would be Alma Beoulve. (The fated first lore-related arrow to the heart!?)

    HEADING: Rasen Kaikyo

Roughly translated as "The Winding Straight,"
Frankly I think "Winding Straight" is wonderful and archaically there would be nothing wrong here but that probably was intended to be strait.

    HEADING: The Confederacy

In a time long, long ago, when Hingashi was engulfed in endless war, a band of exiles on the island of Sasaki raised their cups to celebrate the formation of a new brotherhood - the Confederacy.
I think the island is supposed to be Sakazuki?

Like the bard, Alisaie had been tracking the enigmatic Warriors of Darkness for some time.
I'm absoluty not sure about this one and I might be very well just totalls missreading this, but "the bard" seems to refer to Thancred here...? And at least to my knowlegd, Thancred isnt a bard.
But I'd love someone to take a look at that it and tell me where I went wrong if I did (and who that mysterious "bard" is refering to - is it the WoD-bard...?)

Thancred was referred to as a bard in the sense of being a musician or poet, not the Job. Wiki and other external sources erroneously calls him a Gladiator during the time he was calling himself a bard because of his weapon choice.

    From a quest blurb.

Thancred is a bard ... in the sense that Louisoix was a scholar.

The Gladiator bit is a little weirder. In early 1.0, you had a "physical" level which was attached to your character, and a "skill" level which was attached to your proficiency with a given weapon and the skills associated with it. That's why all of the classes are named after weapons - they were weapon skill levels. Pugilist, fist user. Archer, bow user. Gladiator, blade user. Back then, gladiators used both swords and daggers, and (mechanically speaking) Thancred was a gladiator. Watch him closely in the LV1 to LV15 Ul'dah quests in ARR and he's actually still a gladiator.

He switches officially to rogue when Yugiri shows up - makes a big show of pulling out a second dagger and everything.

Well all the scions are scholars but more bookworm than popping out a fairy and going afk while you let it heal people type. That's partly why all of them have the neck tattoo and why Lyse's was fake as you can tell she at times before the reveal asked questions she either should have known the answers to or understood the subject matter better. I haven't really gone through my book yet so can't bring up possible bugs.

Bronze is an alloy of copper an tin, not lead. Both in real life, and (IIRC) in game. In fact I don't recall lead even being a thing in game...

    Maxima quo Priscus

In EE1, p 179, Social Hierarchy, the quo particule is applied to (and exclusively to) Centurions. However, during the quest A Primary Agreement, Asahi sas Brutus refers to Maxima as a Pilus:
Asahi: Disobey me, Pilus, and you disobey the Emperor. Make preparations to withdraw--now.
If Maxima is a Pilus, his particule should be rem, as both Pilus prior and Primus pilus use that designation. If Maxima is correctly labeled as a centurion in the lorebook, then Asahi's dialogue in this (and other) quests should be adjusted.

But Asahi has been a sas for like ten seconds; he was promoted specifically for his role as an ambassador. Meanwhile, Maxima is a Populares and was handpicked specifically for this doomed mission; quo makes far more sense. However, the game cannot be edited - the line is voiced. Perhaps it would be best to understand it that Maxima is a career centurion but was acting in the capacity of a pilus while serving Ambassador sas Brutus?

Maybe it just shows that Asahi hasn't memorised the actual ranks of the people he's working with... and Maxima isn't going to correct him on that.
