They have not done the quest to unlock Diurnal Sect. An Astrologian, whose entire kit as a healer relies on those sects. And I say that because if nothing else, both sects give a straight buff to healing alongside their unique effects. It also meant that Aspected Benefit did not give a regen.
They knew they were missing out on it, and did their best so no one died. That said, they did struggle, with mp going lower than I usually see ASTs go in that place. Oh and no Royal Road, either.

It's nice that the devs acknowledged this is problematic regarding BLU. Now, please, acknowledge that selfsame problem exists with every other job as well.
I've seen this as well on my first time tanking Dzemael Darkhold.

It went about as well as you'd expect.
