For our case, the whole FC want to move together, and we'd like compensation for the FC house. Most likely not, considering FCs are based on the home server, and doesn't really interact with the data center, I'd see no need for FCs to move. If the leader wants to move, then that's their choice, but an FC as a whole would be unaffected in the context of being an FC
This is what I'm concerned about. Ideally they would have figured out a way to have the FC attached to the leader when he transfers as an option. In the chance the FC name is already taken at the destination, it would prompt for a name change, similar to character transfers. But I have doubts they will put in this much effort. I would love to be proven wrong though. It's something that could be developed and maybe charged as an extra transfer service. I wouldn't mind paying more if we get to keep our progress.
That being said I could at least settle for reimbursement of the FC State. But it seems that's not in the cards or they would have mentioned something about it. This is turning into quite a headache, as I've began making preparations for the worst case scenario and I would recommend those affected do so as well, the sooner the better. Don't get caught off guard, they've already warned us.
More Info please!
So for our case we are on Bryn and it looks like our entire fc wants to remain on primal. We understand that relocation of the FC house is probably a no go. However we would like the keep our fc credits and remain rank 8.Most likely not, considering FCs are based on the home server, and doesn't really interact with the data center, I'd see no need for FCs to move. If the leader wants to move, then that's their choice, but an FC as a whole would be unaffected in the context of being an FC
There is no mechanism to move TV's from one world to another, that's also the kind of big feature they would have announced with the rest of the informatiom. There's always the possibility they'll make it before the split but I doubt it. Your best bet is to create alts on the destination world and power level a ne FC; it shouldn't take more than a week or two. Then have everyone move and buy a house during the free transfer window.
On the list of conditions to be eligible for a world transfer:
You have to leave your FC to be able to transferYour character cannot be enlisted in a free company, holding a free company petition, signed to a free company petition, or applying to join a free company..
I dont believe FC estates would be reimbursed as they're more tied to the server than a personal estate which is tied to your character data.[*]The live letter showed the reimbursement for personal house and apartment. How will FC house work in the process?[*]We will get free of transfer during two weeks. Will there be unlimited free transfer during these two weeks, or is there one time free transfer that we can use during the two weeks? Answered[/LIST]
As far as free transfers work. for a 2 week period you can transfer as much as you want for free of charge but, there is however a 3 day cooldown period in between transfers. basically you have 4 jumps that you can use before it becomes a paid service again.
Oof. Yep, that makes sense. That's really unfortunate, because this would be a good opportunity for entire FCs to transfer off of high pop servers, but being forced to not only (temp) disband your FC, but also lose your house with no compensation is a huge issue.
I can under leaving the fc to transfer however the fc should be able to remain with the owner and we can regroup once on the new server.
