    World Visits and Linkshells

One of the listed restrictions for the announced "World Visit" feature is that linkshells (other than your Cross-World one) won't work while you're on another world, although you'll still be connected to your FC chat.

I don't know if this means they've made an arbitrary rule that you can't use linkshells while visiting, or if it's a technical limitation because it's simply impossible/impractical for a linkshell based in World A to send signals to World B, putting you "out of signal range" for your existing linkshells.

If it's the second case, I'm really hoping that we'll still be able to join a linkshell based in World B, and use it while we are visiting. (They didn't say anything specifically about that, so I'm hoping they just didn't think of the scenario.)

I have a linkshell of friends on my main server Typhon, and a big appeal of the World Visit feature for me would be bringing my alt characters over there and not being cut off from the group. But I'm only really playing as those characters if I'm doing quests, so it's not going to be really useful if I can only communicate with friends via /say and not be able to keep in touch from other locations.

Does anyone know how this might be working from a technical standpoint? Are FC chats classed as linkshells, or are they something separate?
