Bike... new mount. One of the iconic things in the final fantasy. And square put it on mogstation... wow. Rly????? Are you serious??
ok... "thank you for your subscription. Thank you for playing broken game with server lags and connection issues. Thank you for being with us. And for that you have...... boooooom..... new mount for 23euros".... woooooooooooooow. Square dont care about us.

Actually, the bike came with "your" FanFest-ticket - its a bonus/reward for those who are visting the FanFest.
So, this mount didnt went on the mogstation straight away, its there as a courtesy for all the people who cant/dont want to attend one of the FanFests but still want the bonus ingame item that comes with the tickets.

But obviously SE cares about money - they're a buisness, not a non-profit that cares only about our wishes and well-beings.
I'm not a fan of the mogstation myself (and I got the mount because I purchased a ticket for the FanFest in Paris, that I'm very much looking forward to), but I'm also not a fan of people whoe crying and cicking each time they put something on the mogstation, without educating themself first and while ignoring the mounts/pets/glamour we are actually getting ingame for our sub-money.
One could get the impression that all those (optional) items are only on the mogstation now, when thats clearly not the case - we're still getting mounts, minions and glamour ingame and sometimes there is even a reason why stuff is in the mogstation rather than right in the game, promotions like this one or the butler/maid-outfit amongst them.

Exactly - they're giving us the whole stream for free this time and as a result of that the cost of the items got a bit lower, even.

The streams (with the FanFest bonus codes) were about 30€ the last times and with the pets being different from region to region you'd had to spend 90€ to get all three pets.
This time, you get the stream for free; the items at a general lower cost and to pick and choose which ones you actually want instead of paying a flat out 30€ for a whole package of which only one thing might intrest you.
Overall: a very customer friendly solution this year.

...and the mount is actually a way to appriciate loyal customers (those who attend the FanFest) and not locking everyone else who couldnt attend for whatever reason out of it.

And while I do think that it would be about time that we get some ingame appriciation again, lets please not forget that the veteran rewards went away due to player request; that we got that Falcon-mount-campaign last year; that we got the magitek-claw from achievment certificats (meant as a replacement for vet-rewards) somewhen this year... there is stuff we're getting as some sort of "Thank you!", but people constantly choose to overlook that...
Now, would it be nice if everything on the mogstation would be free ingame? Sure.
Would it also be nice if the mogstation-money actually improved this game instead of probably funding FFVII-remakes and FFXV-DLCs? Absolutly.
But is everything on the mogstation now, like posts like this one sort of seem to imply? No. No, it is not, there is still plenty of stuff in the game.

Given that it was an item linked to attending Fanfest, I'm surprised to see it on Mogstation at all. As Malzian had already explained, it would have been linked to the stream as well, were it not streamed on Twitch for free.

Con-exclusives are never things I expect to see available outside of the event, since historically with other franchises, they aren't. I would consider this happening to be a fortunate situation, given you would have to pay to attend Fanfest, and normally pay for a stream.

While I am always an advocate to adding mounts and pets through in-game means, con-exclusives shouldn't be, because people also paid into getting that as a perk for going in the first place.

I dont care about mogstation. 90% online games have stuff like this. Just dont like to pay for some iconic things (like i said). And i think that bike is one of the favourit thing from FF. You look at that and say "yeah, it is from the final fantasy VII". Just like that Cloud/Squall costume whis is normal reward... Just like behemoth mount,.... etc.
It is not that hard make some event, achievement where reward will be that bike. But no, you have to pay for it. It is not a challenge, it is not a fun.

That "event" is called "FanFest". And obviously they wanted to have a nice and exiting reward for that! And obviously they knew people who couldnt get tickets would be upset if they'd be locked out of it - so, mogstation it is. Just how they're doing with past seasonal rewards/event items.
For me thats even gonna be a challenge... its in Paris and I dont speak a word of french!

To be honest if OP was complaining about multiple cash mounts I'd consider their feelings, but seeing as it's only about one thing and that's the bike, nu huh. It's a bonus for the FanFest, but hey let's go back to last year where the stuff didn't even go on to the MogStation at all. Some players just aren't grateful at all...

I wish last years stuff hit mogstation, I paid for it and didn't get it, because clenng screwed people over, never sent me my receipt, so I missed out not by my actions but by their lack of action. I ended up refunding because sure I got access to the stream, but I didn't pay for just that.
