BLU Finally!

So I'm very excited about BLU! It's my all time favorite job from all of Final Fantasy. I will say it's a slight disappointment that its solo, however I work a job that doesnt allow me to do end game content with a group so I have to play at my own time casually, so this is actually perfect for me, but I still wish you could party with other players, my biggest worry is not being able to do roulette or other fun dungeons or duty raids because of being main BLU. I'm extremely excited to try it, but I hope they dont destroy the cool concept of being a BLU, because if they limit it too much then what's the point of even having it, but either way thanks SE!

as far as i understand them you can do every piece of content with him when you get a premade four or eight man group together.
so in theory when they raise his max. lvl to 80 you should be able to do raid content with him, in theory, and when i understand them right.

They will increase the level caps as 5.x patches come out, and when it reaches 80, I look forward to purchasing shadowbringers and running blue mage through the main story quest!

Thought the same like Valor_C which belong the full party content .

But i ask myself all the time ... what exactly is endgame content ... in WoW its mostly Raid only and Mythic Dungeons ... but in Final Fantasy there is so much more, or do all ppl see everything beside Raids as a mini-game?
If ppl think Raid is the whole endcontent in FF than ... "oh boi" FF is a sad world for you, cause not much to raid in it

When people say this job is a mini game, it's because it's less in depth then lord of vermilion and chocobo racing. And just like those minigames they're very self contained and players want to be able to play with their friends in an mmo. And like chocobo racing or l.o.v. after you finish the mist of challenges you're done with the job. You can stand around mor dhona asking your friends to take time away from enjoying new expansion pack content to maybe hop into a level 50 dungeon from 4 years ago with you while you tell them to wait a few years and you'll join them!

If WoW made a sought after job, and capped them at 60, then they would get similar feed back.

Blue mage has no Job gauge. No rotation that we see. Just spam whatever spells you got. (As in find the best one and only use that one).

Just give us a quest at 50, 60, 70, and 80 that is only able to be taken if we have all spells up to whatever and allow that to unlock roulettes so blue mages aren't queuing for dungeons unless they have their spells.

There are so many choices, and they just chose the worst ones.

For myself i cant only talk about my taste and also i play an astrologian but i cant fortunetelling, but its caped with 4.5 content to lvl50 with release of 5.0 it will raise the lvl cap aaaaaand u can play with your friends in dungeons u cant use rndm duty finder stuff ...
Chocobo racing and TT are real minigames cause they dont interact with the world or battle system BLU does this ... u can Farm in EUREKA or FATES and hunts u can do tresuremaps and party up with friends for content aaaand u can go by ur own...
about the skill rotation we can only shitchat cause there are no fakts about this topic, but i think the dev team dont make more than 49 skills for the patch 4.5 only to have reskins over reskins of skills ;D
Gues BLU will be a real flavour class play him how u like to play a BLU solo as much u love to solo ( so many WAR made primae fights by them own just for fun ... gues WAR has a nice alt called BLU)

I'm not sure they've confirmed that the level cap in the new expansion will be level 80. They did confirm that they will raise the level cap as new patches come out, but come 5.0 they could just raise it to level 55 or 60 rather than up to 80. Additionally, it is a bit disappointing that they, even at level 80, can't really be your main job since you can't run roulettes with it, making gathering tomestones to gear it out impossible without a second level 80 job. This of course assumes they change nothing.
