I hope we'll see some more of this in Shadowbringers, with the Trust System, they can start to balance open world content around a party, and that will (IMO) hopefully breath more life into the open world. They also need to add more to the open world itself imo besides the needed level sycn to just grind exp. Having it's own reward structure would be also welcome if they are determine to add more limited job. This could be a good time for them to warm up to adding open world content beside having everything instanced. /Shrugs![]()

This really should be a fundamental option in the game anyway.
Simply a tick box option in the party members page that the party leader can turn on or off.
"Party sync to lowest party members level."

Yes! Please; the game needs a level sync feature like that.

Thinking about this, yeah, that would be a nice simple feature... I visualize this just like the Fate System on the right side, level sync, and it will go to the lowest level player in the party.

Despite how fast leveling can be with this job... it's clear that Level Sync for Open world Parties would be a huge help... Yoshi-P said this wouldn't be that hard to do several years ago, can we get an update on if this is still coming?

Totally agreed, even outside the whole Blue Mage topic. But I'd like to have just a level sync, without having the skills being unavailable. Kinda like how it is on WoW and Guild Wars where even if you run a dungeon that is lower level, or if you go to a lower level map, all your stats get toned down to that map but the skills you've already learned stay available to use. I always found annoying that level sync in this game completely messes up your rotation muscle memory for no reason.
Blue mage adds an additional reason for it, but I'd like to level sync at will in the open world anyway. If I'm doing a quest that's below my level and it asks me to kill some open world mobs, I'd like to level sync down to the level of the quest or the mobs to keep the quest from being trivialized. (Or maybe slightly below their level if I want a challenge.)
With BLU, it's more about wanting to slow things down enough that the mob has time to use whatever skill I'm trying to learn before I kill it. Of course, I can slow things down by limiting myself to just auto-attacks or by hitting the mob once to start the fight and then just standing there for a while, but those are both kind of boring. I'd rather level sync so I could fight it more dynamically.

Agreed 100% and Yoshi-P even agreed with this, he said 2 years ago it would be easy to add... I just hope they still do.Blue mage adds an additional reason for it, but I'd like to level sync at will in the open world anyway.
