    Female outfits

    I would just like to see more female outfits given as rewards. As a female in real life i want the outfits from characters like Tifa, Garnet etc. I just feel a bit let down that all my veteran rewards where of Clouds, Squall and other male outfits. Now we have Balthiers...i must admit one of my fave characters but i would just like to say to the devs please can we have some female character outfits added. I know we have Yuna but more would be nice.

    They release the men's outfits because they work on both male and female characters. If they released Tifa or Garnet's outfits they would have to make some extra choices:

    1. Let men wear them too
    2. Double the work and release a gender locked pair like the Tidus/Yuna set
    3. Lock to female and release nothing for men

    All of these would lead to complaints of some kind so it's easier if they just keep releasing iconic male outfits that are available to everyone.

    I think he meant in the case of the Cloud, Squall, Zidane, Firion, Setzer, and Vaan outfits all of which are not gender locked. Most of the gear from the female leads would look appalling on male characters.

    The topic says veteran rewards, none of those are veteran rewards. Besides they have been adding outfits of special female NPCs, we just have more male NPCs than females.

    It should also be remembered that in Balthier's case, he was originally going to appear in the Ivalice story and thus his outfit was already made. Changes in the story led to him being cut, but they were able to repurpose the outfit.

    It would be nice to see some of the girl's outfits be added, there's so many nice outfits/pieces we could use for glamour. Dyable of course.
