4.5 will be huge

I don't know if people noticed with all the negativity floating around, but 4.5 might just be the largest patch of FFXIV so far. True, it will be cut in half, but even with that taken into account we will have a massive pile of content.

1. New Dungeon
2. New Raid
3. New Trials
4. New big Gold Saucer Attraction
5. New Rival Wings area
6. New Eureka area
7. New Job

That's a pretty nicel list right there.

If they put Beastmaster in the game or PUP as limited I would be happy because that means they were willing to try to play with a class they said was impossible from the get-go.
A lot of people have been asking for the BLU and Yoshi told them no. But over the years they softened and released it.
I'm happy it is in the game - It is secured - and they can play with the idea to let it raid - they have that opportunity now as it is in the game now and an official staple.

I never said I wasn't happy.

But it's not a full job, it's a limited job said so by SE themselves.

Its a forever.

They said too many of those skill are gamebreaking and would totaly destroy the content without a sweat.

The whole job is balanced to be a solo mob wrecker and can't find his place in a party. Limited Job is a new concept on his own, Blue mage is part of it and will be forever if he's not totaly rework to be a normal job ditching a year of work to the trash and needing another year to be completely rework. All we can expect is another jobs to be limited in the future cause "we can't make it work like a normal job".

I've played this game for years. From Start to now. I've learned to be a very positive person when it comes to SE.
They can always make adjustments to the game and nothing is definitive.

If you want to be the negative onlooker - you have that right.
I am glad it is in the game ONCE AGAIN because SE said it was never going to be.
Which means they are OPEN TO CHANGE.
Meaning nothing is definite and if you can't follow that.

Thank you. I appreciate it because when it comes to SE. I've had many back and forths with them. I am a BRD. As you know SE had many adjustments to BRD and made them into one point casters. Fans drove it hard into them and eventually, we have the BRD that moves around freely now in SB. Many rejoiced. I'm just trying to put into peoples minds into ease. It's not the end of the world. Change is still possible.

its more like you asked for ham and cheese sandwich but get ham and pickle. its half way there(job name/theme of aquiring abilities) but not quite(df restriction and lv 50 cap). now me personally i am going to try it out and see if becomes a new interesting flavour never had before or just a poop tasting sandwich

Yes, yes it can't use Toxic Finder....I mean Duty finder. But instead gives you 50 levels to get, a playstyle we never had before and that weird ability log. Oh and a special duty just for it. Content wise that's kinda a lot.
But you are free to give me a message when another MMO releases a limited job as patch content.
