Lvl 35 SCH Job-Quest "The Last Remnants"

Hey guys!

I am new to the game and I stuck at "The Last Remnants". I am not able to jump onto the middle platform for the 4th spot.

I watched all the helpful YouTube videos. I read the forum entries. I know where the rock is, from which I must jump from. I see people doing it. It is not that I am not able to jump, I am. But I realised that I jump the same distance independently from whether I use sprint or not. Also, in the videos the mounts glide a little, while mine is not doing that. Independently whether I use a mount, I use sprint or just regularly run the same effect happens: as soon as I jump, I make a little hob, and fall down the gorge.

So, I was wondering: Is that normal? Is there an aiming function in the mechanics which I am missing? Do I necessarily need a flying mount (which I do not have) in order to glide a little more? (Well the people in the YouTube videos glide even without a mount… so I guess not.)

Independently to all that: During my 4 hours jumping and trying to figure out the mechanics, I saw a player on the platform who used another way to get on it (I am sure, for I was on that rock the whole time). I tried to ask her, but she did not come back to me. Therefore: Is there another way to get on this platform?

Solution: When the graphic-quality is to high it might overload your computer and it processes the jump by stopng before the jump, therefore you only hob. Hence you can't jump wide distances.

Obviously I am just shit at computergames in general...

Edit: Oh shit that is soooo embarrassing... The game is now running perfectly fine.... Hahahaha... Anyway... just in case anyone is facing the same problem.
