[Aether][Discord][LS][LFM] ~Eccentricity~ is recruiting Alternative Playstyles

Hello, and welcome to Eccentricity.

Eccentricity is a Discord and Cross-world Linkshell group based on Aether that is dedicated to building a network of players who are interested in PvE content beyond the mainstream raid and grinding culture that dominates the game (and most others, for that matter). If you're tired of seeing the same few duties on the party finder, day in, day out, then rest assured that we feel the same! Finding a group for something other than those few duties can be an agonizing process, especially if what you're wanting to do is beyond the scope of what is even expected within the game. Here at Eccentricity, we've banded together in an effort to make that struggle more bearable. It is our hope that, with enough players on board, we might even dispel the struggle entirely!

So what exactly do we do around here? Well, it's a long list. Here are just a few things that our members enjoy doing:

• Synced and Minimum Item Level duties.
• Old content
• Undersized duties for fun and challenge. (MinIL, Synced, and Unsynced)
• Irregular party compositions. (Tired of DPS queue times? Tanks and healers are overrated!)
• Duties with specialized limitations. (Mastered a fight? Now do it when everyone's in first-person view!)

As for what we don't do, that's limited to just a few things. We don't run the newest content in standard ways. We don't farm for money and glamours. And we don't faceroll bosses just for rewards. That said, we don't expect all of our members to be personally opposed to mainstream culture. It's just that that sort of gameplay is not what the group is for, and so we ask that it not get in the way of the group's actual purpose.

The group's primary platform is Discord. Some of the Discord's features include:

• Chatrooms (including a voice chatroom).
• An event-scheduler. All members are allowed to host events a minimum of 8 hours in advance. Other members can then reserve their spot in the event, via custom reactions.
• A dedicated advertisement channel for spontaneous duties. This can also be used to notify members of parties you see on the PF, but are not actually hosting.
• Several voice channels for party communication.
• As of today, 176 other players with which to play eccentric content!
