This data center split has basically killed all interest fan fest might have generated, and we don't even have much time to process/make plans to mitigate how horrible this change is... What a complete disaster... Goes perfectly with the Shadowbringer trailer though, I assume this is the Calamity they mentioned and the whole idiotic idea is the history that needs to be unwritten.... 10/10 story telling, if nothing else!

I get why SE are doing these changes to the data centres, but I feel that 4.5 is too soon.

That doesn't give enough time for people such as op to act upon this. It's hard enough to get eight people together without having to potentially reorganise what servers you're playing from and if you want to stick together. On top of that recruitment can be a lengthy process so finding replacements can eat up even more time.

SE should have announced this at 4.4 launch at the latest. Ideally before the summer.

That's 4-5 months to figure out what you're doing and who's moving where to stay together if they want to.

That's 4-5 months to figure out what you're doing and who's moving where to stay together if they want to.

There is far more than enough time for people to get things sorted out and if one particular group can't, oh well.
