Splitting EU will kill off its PvP community

Hi there!

Following the announcement of the Datacenter split for Europe, a lot of concerns have arisen about the state of PvP once Chaos and Light are split.

Namely :

- The PvP playerbase is already small, and this only makes it worse by putting less players in each Datacenter's queues,
- This in turn will make matches less frequent and PvP less active,
- One Datacenter will get favored by the PvP community, making its top100 higher, while the other will be abandoned with a not-as-active Top100.

This issue is already starting to tear the playerbase apart and needs to be adressed. What solutions has the Dev Team envisioned to avoid them? People cannot move that easily without potentially leaving their PvE friends, and this is heartbreaking for many of us.

This is a really important thing for Europe PvP. FRC would have been a mess with such a split. Please consider answering our worries there!

The FRC was a mess. Half of the EU community was not eligible to play as you know.
Also alot of PVP players are moving to Light and Light will be the main PVP EU datacenter.

Just because you spend a lot of time making a mistake doesn't mean you should stick to it. Although I guess that's ironic to say here, given the state of PvP in this game.

I understand that it needed to be done to accommodate growth but yeah, it's going to fracture pvp even more than it is.

It's completely wrecked the NA scene too. Most players are planning on staying in Aether while those of us who might choose to stay on Crystal won't really have...Many experienced players to play with anymore.

Unless a big influx of new players enters the game with the expansion, this could be really bad for PvP queue times. I'm talking more about Fronline and Rival Wings. There simply aren't enough people to support Eureka and PvP at the same time.
