[Q&A panel question] Option to change indicator colors for colorblind people

    Hello there,

I was watching the Q&A panel and one person brought up an interesting question for colorblind people playing FFXIV.

While the color filter in the accessibility settings does help, it has its limitations. For example, having an orange AoE indicator on an orange floor, with or without filters, will still be an orange indicator on a similarly colored floor (doesn't have to be orange, could be anything). So this would call for another setting to be implemented.

Obviously, everyone is different and color perception changes from person to person (even among colorblind types (protanopia, deutranopia, tritanopia), there are variations), which makes it all the more logic to implement an option to change indicator colors. Whether it's an AoE marker, a stack marker, etc. I feel like it would benefit everyone to have the option to change those colors.

I don't know exactly how they would go about standardizing each indicator color, but it would be a neat addition to the game that would allow many people to fully experience the game (or well, a precise aspect of the game).

    Cheers!

    I'm a deutan (green-weak) here

That would be nice. I understand that some markers are going to be hard to work with to change colors on which is why they often have different shapes. I would still like colorblind filter to be added to the PS4 but I don't think that is going to happen for a long time. I hate playing through content that is color sensitive. Even looking at the map and finding the red circles are difficult unless you zoom in a lot.
