Would it be possible to request an official poll be supplied by SE to accurately gauge player desire for a normalization of Elezen proportions? I know i for one would welcome another poll to address aspects of the game the majority would like to see implemented. At this rate a sub race of half Elezen, with Elezen emote move sets, is the best i would hope for.

Well it's an improvement compared to the ones in FF11 at least. One of my alts is a female elvaan and the only glams I like on her are the body fitting ones or heavy armor. Aside from the neck/shoulders their slim figure is very beautiful. The issue of hair longer than the neck clipping with most armor is biggest prob I have though.

For all the flak that people asking for Viera got for requesting a race thats "hyuur with hun-human ears glued on" its kinda funny that people want to take an existing race with a somewhat unique body and add the option for it to be a hyur with non-huan ears glued on.

I think its more an issue that with Elezen, again from strictly an artistic design PoV, is a bit awkward. You see, even if you can design a race with their own proportions, there still has to be consideration to the human figure. The reason being is that without some consideration, the design can fall into the uncanny valley. For the Elezen, it kinda does this a little bit with the in game models. Theyre designs are a touch weird.

I don't have any male Roe characters because I think their proportions are too cartoonishly blocky...but requesting them to be "normalized" or have a 3rd option where its a human shaped muscular dude is silly. A highlander is more my taste. If I wanted to play a highlander, the only thing stopping me is a $10 fanta fee.

Roes and Elezen have their niche, they just don't appeal to everyone.
