i want the tiger mount on mog station then, this is absurd. i would pay $100 to not have to do hunts anymore and just buy the damn thing!

dunno just let the S ranks spawn with no special spawning criteria just like A ranks, but only up to max 3 times per day, and with an unpredictable timer(s) so can't be camped either. make the marks unable to hit by anyone who is a 'wanderer' eg. could appear as green NPC to those, that way we would avoid off worlders to early pull as must quickly get to next server for next kill.
As it is now the players can't maintain order and calm stuff, so suggesting that the people workign on it could look a possible way to fix this one way or another.

The cw hunts have opened up the hunt so that players have been able to get many more s ranks--if they are well connected both in and outside of the game. And we now have the wonderful opportunity of joining many more A rank trains. The community has expanded, and that's been nice. But problem players for one server are now problem players for the _entire_ datacenter.
With the map-wide announcement of S rank spawn, what is to prevent a whole new level of situations where you're over on one side of the map killing that last Chimera and Leucrotta spawns on the other side of the map, and players on the map close to it swarm and kill it before you ever get to it? We are already essentially having that happen with the way hunts are camped and S ranks in ARR & HW locations are killed. _SOMETHING_ needs to change. S ranks need an invulnerability timer or something. The way the Hunt currently works is that it's a part of the game that--if you want to upgrade your mount speeds or other unique rewards from the hunt-- you are forced to deal with trolls. If a powerful hunter decides to harass you, The Hunt gives them that power. If a player doesn't care about words, they can troll an entire datacenter by instapulling everything. In every other aspect of FFXIV, the devs give us tools to deal with harassment and trolling ourselves, via kicks and blocks. And just minding your own business and hunting by yourself can create hostility in this MMO. Why would SE purposefully design a game mechanic that invites so much drama and hostility?
I would deeply love to see some tweaks to The Hunt with 5.0 or 5.1 to decrease or eliminate this vulnerability of The Hunt--hopefully without breaking it for hunters. Make hunts invulnerability timered immediately after spawn to allow players to at least cross the map who have done the work of spawning them--especially if SE doesn't want players to use outside applications to find them. But mostly just do something to allow people to hunt without so much hostility--even people who are honestly trying to maintain calm get sucked into this drama, and for other players, it's made the game a hostile environment.

Someone camping Leucrotta on the other side of the map is not a problem, because it's unlikely other people will be at Azys Lla when you spawn it. What you are describing is a rare scenario because Azys Lla is typically a barren and empty area and its hunt does not have a small window. The zones that are typically camped have a window, like a gathering or fishing window, or are approaching their maximum respawn time. If they did find it, they would probably /shout it or you would probably find it before it died. If you didn't, there are plenty more.
If you want to upgrade your mount speed, you aren't forced to deal with trolls. You can simply find A ranks yourself, kill them and get seals from those. They are not hard to find and go unkilled most of the time.
Discord won't matter in 2 weeks because we'll have 8 CWLS slots and be able to share hunts across worlds much more easily. If worlds aren't informed of their own hunts after that, then there's not much more that can be done.
With the amount of hunts available including with cross-world, you could restrict yourself to just high-health Shadowbringers S ranks and still get about 48 every 5 days, or 144 while we have 3 instances.

instances of any map become full as fast as an incoming announcement has been sent.
It is difficult to hunt in our own server. I hope it'll be fixed asap.

If the marks are being found and relayed on a regular basis, then there's no problem with hunting on your server.
Your problem is you aren't doing the hunting, you're waiting for someone else to do it. Try becoming one of the hunters instead.
Even if you're one of the hunters that still doesn't stop wanderers destroying the marks as soon as they arrive, plus they have the advantage of using 3rd party applications that announce exactly where the marks are and there's no wait time once they've all gathered. It's happened several times where we've found them crowded in front of a mark after one of us spawned it and before the rest of us can group up and call it out they've already pulled and annihilated it.

Gaius van Baelsar: Nor is this unknown to your masters. Which prompts the question: what came first, the chicken or the egg?
Unfortunately this is true. I was once one of the hunters and lost quite a few S ranks due to exactly that scenario. I have since stopped hunting for or going to all the S ranks sans Shadowbringers period.Even if you're one of the hunters that still doesn't stop wanderers destroying the marks as soon as they arrive, plus they have the advantage of using 3rd party applications that announce exactly where the marks are and there's no wait time once they've all gathered. I used to mainly do hunting, as for now, it is pretty dead, on Ragnarok, i have some people that chase them, in solo linking the pop. by the time the link has pop, it is already overcrowed.

The worst mistake SE made was allowing X-worlds to do A and S ranks. I did my first "Train" today since Xpac and could not even see the bosses before landing, the group had so many people and draw was terrible. They just run from one instance to another and dive into the boss not waiting at all. Even when the instance deal goes away, it will not change the rest of the problems.
