Since increased healing received is the only thing cards don't cover, they'll probably give that to AST.
Congratulations, your kit now consists of literally everything the game can give you.

Let's not kid ourselves here. Direct Hit.
Tbh I wanted them to have increased healing instead of crit. Now? I kinda want them to get a sixth card that gives them a free lord/lady and/or royal road effect of their choosing instead.
Still replace crit with increased healing. AST should care more about their defensive cards.

Mechanics are Aesthetics. Graphics don't make interesting gameplay.

We had that before. And it was damned strong with Sleeve Draw with spear, but that get nerfted. And that was okay, Sleeve Draw every 84-96 sec (normaly 120 sec) is to much.
Mhh Direct Hit is a idea that is not bad.
I hope the ast get a healing Buff card. That would push the the Healing power from wihte mage in the best way and make AST a better partner for WHM. Maybe if it is 10% more heal in single and 5% in Aoe.
The Ast would Push Vita - Vita III , Regen (!!!).
The problem here is that the Card pushed the Stances Buff (Diu 21% heal push | Noc 26,5% healing Card). So the AST have the most benefit from this card and the whm get pushed much (And I belive Mrs. Moonbane wants that the poor SCH get benefit more than whm if this card comes)
The SCH does not benefit from this card.(No Indomitability,No Excogitation,No Lustrate) Healing skills would get ignored.
Now it is time to drink tea or coffee and see that the AST from ff14 are the reason for Diablo immortal since the beginning of existence in HW. At least for Mrs. Moonbean. ^^

I like the way you think. I agree that spire will likely become direct hit and I imagine it will keep its current royal road status. Was discussing this during the live letter with a friend. As for a new card I'm not sure how I feel on that but I feel like AST has all the healing power it really needs atm. Also, moogles!Let's not kid ourselves here. Direct Hit.

I don't see the point of a "healing received increased" card. We currently have Mantra, Nature's Minne, Defiance (for the tank that needs it the most) and Convalescence. And on the other side we have Largesse and Fey Illumination. Plus the fact that as of today, excess healing requirements are very situational, and should not be submitted to the Draw RNG.
But we may argue that no one uses the Spire out of Royal Road so it would be just a "card to burn", while giving us a "DH card" (or any DPS buff) would have us reconsider the Royal Road itself.
I would like to have the Bole get the AOE effect in Royal Road, and have Spire take the 150% effect, whatever its effect will be (CD reduction, DPS buff).
Maybe spire could be just running speed buff... like a shorter Peloton, but useable in combat...?
It can be useful for fights where you constantly need to move big lenghts. And when not moving, well, you can either royal road it or minor arcana

I just want a card that summons a weeping White Mage.
KIDDING!

Increased healing receive would have to have a very high value to be remotely useful. Imo DH is the simplest and best thing to do
