At first I was like, yeah, I'll make a viera alt, but I really, really can't be arsed to do an ARR job+MSQ for the fifth time.
As attached to my roe as I am, I still have a lot of problems with her that viera could possibly fix; mainly glamour. Pretty much all gear are made with miqo'te+hyur+au ra in mind, so anything with puffy sleeves, massive shoulderpads etc. looks just utter trash on my poor seawolf. Doesn't help that I like cutesy girly stuff, so dresses and such are my jam, but they rarely look nice on my roe. And the hairstyle I chose to the viera is the single hairstyle I've ever wanted from this game. Bare neck, lots of volume, whisps over shoulder, bangs that don't cover eyes (looking at you Lightning hairstyle). ;w; It's so hard. I will deffo make a viera alt first to test all the glam+emotes+voices before I make my final judgement. In the benchmark movie I wasn't super sold on the viera's facial expressions compared to my seawolf's (my roe looked PISSED before Titania fight while the viera looked kinda worried), but I bet in general the viera is more photogenetic than my roe in closeups.
Also, sidenote, I'm sort of "permanent change or nothing", so I wouldn't be fantasia'ing every other week. I still have a free fantasia from beta.
