As excited as I am for Viera too, isn't it a little early for a thread like this? I could understand making this thread now if the Stadowbringers benchmark was about to drop and we could play with them in the character creator, but we haven't even seen what they look like in XIV yet.

People start it this early, thinking: "I start it Months before it does even matter so it will be the biggest thread WHEN it matters and if someone DARES TO open another one i will spam the link to MY thread." Same as some are already starting to create "dedicated discord Servers" for the new Datacenters in order to say "I HAVE the biggest discord community of ALL the Datacenters pls notice me"

Art is by me. I can’t technically post links to my sites I don’t think cause it’s technically personal info. But yea wasn’t gonna post these here but I just figured why not. I have a few more drawings of viera stuff on my sites, but the first one is generally what I wanted my whm viera to look like, and the second is just alternate concepts for viera. I was mostly a big fan of the original final fantasy tactics advanced viera concept, and you’ll notice that the whm outfit is from ffta2. They went more with the ff12 look, which is fine and I still will 100% be viera no matter what haha. And all those people saying we are setting ourselves up for dissappointment, idk I’m pretty cool with their design even if it’s not what I would have done. Like it’s the viera, I’ve loved them since I was a kid, I’m really just happy I can finally play as one.

It's 'just' a Tactics Advance Viera --- I drew her in November for my precaution-remix to celebrate the possible reveal of the race in February (which luckily really happened), so the work on the TA Difficult Battle arrangement wasn't wasted despite not matching the official FFXIV-Viera-style nowadays >x3 :
