Vieras just have that something in them. Ever since I bought EW, unlocked Viera and changed my character into a bunbun, I never looked back. I've been changing her appearance here and there, clans, skin color, eye color, hair color, but always a bunbun, face 1 in my case. And not even the lack of hats can change my mind I just can't imagine playing without her cute bunny nose and without her big bunny ears blocking my view

I can absolutely see that! Your girl is adorable, beautiful and has a mystique vibe to her!
Up until now, I have been every race in the game, for Pip she will remain a Hrothgal (Mainly for RP reasons and story I built for her), but Uki is special. It is hard to describe why it's different, but she is so much more, for the first time since EW (patch 6.1 to be exact) I can't wait to log in and play with her. At first I thought that is because I have the MSQ and that will keep me busy, but I find myself doing the same things on Uki as I do on Pip. GS, retainers, Gpose. And some content like the daily roulettes and PvP. When I do them on Pip, I grow tired, but on Uki, I am hoping the time will stop for a few hours so I can see her in action just a little bit more. I don't know if I explain it well enough, I am notoriously bad at explaining stuff. But I just love her!

I at least understand everything you said perfectly, because I have the same thing with my Vel! Sometimes I catch myself logging into the game to do anything with her, just so I can look at her for a bit. Although, I am lucky enough that I started playing in August 2023 so I am still relatively new and I still have a lot of stuff to do - island sanctuary, mount farming, eureka, leveling alt jobs etc etc so I will not be completely out of things to do with her for a good while

Haven't posted in a while, so I might be one of the missing Viera of this thread. I'm really glad Amarys was as gorgeous as before the graphical update, but something still felt off and I had no idea what it was. Then I read Vel's comment about Veena face 1 eyebrows and that was it! Thank you Vel ♥
I changed her to a Rava and could not be happier. I could never imagine going back to my former Miquo self.

@Amarys_Soreyna Yeah, I heard a lot of people disliked her which is a shame, I found her charming (albeit, I saw the prepatch with EN VA, but after her first "amma go be Hokage real quick" yell at the boat from nerd island to new world, I changed to JP VA. She is so much cuter and high in spirit, highly recomend! And only found faults with the story. I guess if people stayed with EN VA they might find her unpleasant. The transition was easy for me since we didn't have Raha who's VA I absolutely adore! And Erenville is very sexy in both languages so no losses there. It was a bit jarring with Mister Gun and his Elezen Husbando, but I got used to it after a while)
P.S I am using silly names and scenarios to try and not give to much spoilers.

BUNjutsu is the best attack! Gives "confusion" to the whole party!

I usually find characters like that at least mildly annoying, but I thought I would warm up to her over time (you don't know how often I wanted to kick Alphinaud in his butt...). Sadly she was so overused and everyone else severely underused, the annoyance turned to a pretty big dislike and the last trial was the final straw. I fear, she's not redeemable for me. Erenville on the other hand was way more my vibe and I enjoyed the time with him a lot! Still a bit miffed that Zero got shoved aside for Wuk's story (I was just...there).
Was the English voice that bad? I only know it from the cinematic trailer and it was okay there. I play with German text / voice over and her voice actress was mostly fine, no objections on that side.

Anyway, I have to pay the Bunbun tax


I just wish, I was better at taking pictures. They are not terrible, but they always look so plain. Don't know how to describe it.
But I have another obsession instead, I spend way too much time in the inn room looking for new glams. Every DoM/DoW has a distinct glam, even the ones I don't like or play that much :3
