I need help.
I got a fantasia after one year and I changed my rava to veena…
Im not sure if I made a big mistake…
Here are both original:

And veena:


I changed because I wanted a more “yellow” and lighter skin tone to match the clothing colours I use most.
Everything besides the skin is the same, the only difference is the skin tone which I am happy with since rava only has red tinted skintones or literally gray.
I feel like I made a big mistake because of how much prettier rava eyes are, I love rava eyes and wish we could pick between a large vs small pupil regardless of clan.

I don’t know…something looks off…

I can’t understand if I have this bad feeling because of my attachment to my previous Viera that remained unchanged for a year or because the veena does look worse and it’s not just in my head.

Veena has a few advantages besides the skin such as a bigger variety of matching hair and lip colours that previously didn’t work with the red undertone on my rava.
I don’t understand why they thought it was a good idea to make each section of rava skintones exclusively red/pink or is my tv just not catching any yellow tint section?

The character creation is a nightmare.
I was like you originally a Rava but changed to veena because of the skin colour. My Rava was to brown/grey to my taste. (Only good in certain lights)


I had the same issue with my eyes and since they were originally greenish blue on my Rava, I tried them on veena but it was kind of dull. This is why I changed my veena eyes colour to a light pink brown (see my signature).

So to summarise my solution was to change my eye colour for something who would pop more on veena.

Now that we are getting all the nice hairstyles that everyone else has I just want some more headgear. Also I really wish SE would let us get some more freedom with ingame poses. In regards to skincolour for Ravas and Veena I find Rava is easier to work with and I also prefer Rava eyebrows. But Veenas have some really nice light grey skincolours. Wish it didnt cost a fantasia each time.

Honestly, it is a very subtle difference and I think only true Viera experts would even be able to tell that you swapped. There is no doubt I vastly prefer the Rava eyes. I think they have a much sweeter, more ancient aura and the colour really pops with smaller pupils. I also feel like the facial shading on Rava is prettier somehow - there is something flat about the Veena, but the skin undertones absolutely are very different and you can't achieve a more "yellow" tone on Rava. Their tanned complexions are all pink and red browns straight to blacks.

TLDR I think they both look great and most people wouldn't even notice the difference. You're going to get more use out of certain dye and makeup options with this skin tone, it's just hard for me to get over how much prettier the Rava eyes are. I could never play Veena on my main for that reason, probably. ;--;

Yeeeeeeeesss I agree with you ;___;! Veena looks flat I can’t understand why, the light just doesn’t work as well on them…I wish there was a bigger selection for undertones when it comes to rava…with Veena you can be neutral, warm, cold or even olive.
I might just stick with Veena for now and see how it feels but man Ill miss those eyes…

I always forget if Veena bunny boys have bigger pupils or not… and no please dont change your rava she looks so sweet I really love her!

And thank you Gwen Ill give this a try later at home because you are right the eye colors are way more faded but once I pick a more saturated or darker color, the eyes look almost black as I zoom out ;__;…
