I've NEVER played a male toon in anything that would let me be otherwise...

But the male Viera were the first time since the 1980s that I've been tempted to give it a go.

They actually have an anatomically proper body, instead of the 'stupidly unreal bulky bodies' that people like so much... (the female version of the average male toon should be as Thicc as Texas with a chest size of triple-Z that still defies gravity)...

Human males in FFXIV also have decent proportions, but felt very uninspiring to me. The male Viera is the first time I've seen anybody make a male model in a video game that was visually appealing.

!!! Thank you both a ton! It's funny, the reaction I got before you two on what personal impression he makes was that he seems like a suspicious guy lol. This has been really cool to hear and I'm thrilled his design made a strong impression! Wanted him to have ambiguous lunar/solar imagery, sort of like one of those optical illusion pictures where one visual might stand out more than the other depending on where you focus. I was a bit nervous gray/white/gold as a color scheme wouldn't be striking enough so really excited that it worked out well.

As for a male Viera, I did make one in the benchmark that I might change to for a bit after completing the story. Want to go through it on my default character first, so to speak.
