Guesting is not useless, it's pretty good if you have friends in a different server or you want to participate in some server event.I'm not sure why people are saying this will affect the Market Board... it won't.
Every server has it's own economy (this is why there is a VERY restricted limit on how much gil you can bring from server to server when transferring). My guess is you won't be able to buy/sell from the MB, won't have access to your retainers either (as this could potentially affect the economy on your visiting server), won't be able to buy plots (housing) etc...
This feature will be good if you want to "visit" people and "hang out" with them. I'm not sure why they are introducing it at all to be honest but, it's SE. There's a lot of useless stuff around (for ex: the app).
EDIT: Trade is also a feature that probably will be restricted.

Can't bring myself to choose beside this or NG+ as the most useless feature to be implemented in the game.

This is actually extremely useful for people like streamers who have people strewn across servers on their DC. I wish it was Cross-DC, there's a lot of people I'd like to party with on Aether.
The sum of all hunt arguments over early pullers: http://goo.gl/IFT9IE

I think the idea is cool.

I didn't mind this back in GW2 before they pulled out the mega server, so only time will tell if it works here or not. Personally I would hope that some things are gated to prevent market trolling and/or gil spammers rushing into previously locked worlds, but otherwise I'm happy for the prospect.

Depends on the world unless your on a small server where the MB is horrible for buyers. Some things are never in stock or extremely overpriced compared to other servers. An example I have an alt on Zalera and gave up on having the flying chair mount as it's never in stock.I didn't mind this back in GW2 before they pulled out the mega server, so only time will tell if it works here or not. True, I forgot about how bad things are on smaller servers in regards to the marketboard... I wonder if they can find a way to prevent trolling while still allowing smaller servers to benefit and buy things from larger servers?Depends on the world unless your on a small server where the MB is horrible for buyers. We're probably not going to be able to trade or buy houses on other servers, not as long as the MB and housing wards stay isolated to one server.

I imagine things such as housing, joining FCs and Linkshells, and the selling of items will be restricted to your Home World. But buying items, participating in hunts, crafting/gathering, daily quests, etc. will all be unrestricted.
I am not really sure why we even needed it..I mean now with the server wide LS. Also do they really believe that people would always just go away from busy servers and move to less busy ones to do stuff? And what will happen if you want to go back to your home world but there is too much traffic there and you cant? How bad would it be if you lose your house because you are somehow stuck on another world? x)
Also cant people just hop around the servers for hunts and things like that? Wouldnt that make it worse for those on the server? What about Bots? Wouldnt they suddenly get to server which they could not get to before that?
I really dont like the idea, especially after stuff like Raubahn savage..
