It appears that SE has learned their lesson (to an extent) as the drop rate on "Ballroom Etiquette - Ideal Gossip" seems to be much higher than Insufficient Petticoats; as of this post I have collected less than 50 heat-warped lockboxes and received three copies of it, not to mention the amount of listings on the MB should say as much. This drop rate needs to be the same for Insufficient Petticoats. Come on SE.

Nahh. Leave it the way it is. You don't have to have every item in the game easily available to you. If you don't like the rng then buy it. This game needs more items that only a select few have access to.

This works for things that require skill or exclusive events.
But locking it purely behind blind luck is just frustrating.

This is what i don't get, if they went back and changed all of Pagos (Item drop rates, Light bar rates, bunny chest rates and NM spawn rates) to be just like pyros then i would go back into pagos so fast it would make peoples head spin. We really need to kick up more of a stink so this can be changed because as it is now, people who join in 5.0 WILL be out of luck to even finish these Relics let only get those super rare items.

I don't see anything wrong with it being difficult to obtain. You don't need to have everything you want.

Difficult to obtain should require skill and not braindead RNG.

There have always been harder parts in relic weapons compared to other steps. This time Pagos is the grindy step, it makes sense in that respect. Maybe by the end of 4.5 we'll get mat requirements halved (I think current light drops are fine), but I don't see them touching drop rate for this annex content.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that dark goth poney from higher floors of PoTD is also RNG dependant (the hidden treasures AND the unlocking to the PNJ) right? Same for more regular PoTD / HoH rewards, Diadem etc. That's a way to make them "attractive" for people that want those items. And we already have rewards for real achievements (PvP or PvE) aside.

This emote is currently about 20-25m on my realm. Earning 25m is far, far easier than farming a potential 500+ cold-warped boxes. Even worse, there's no guarantee this won't be bunged into 5.0's PotD and end up being 50k sometime next year. Therefore I wouldn't dream of stepping foot in Pagos for this.

I'm fine with rare items, I'm currently working on the Centurio Tiger. But there has to be an incentive. It has to feel worth the time/effort ratio.

There have always been harder parts in relic weapons compared to other steps.

I don't recall any other relic step relying on RNG. They were horrible grinds, yes, but if you put in the effort, you made progress 100% of the time. If anything, the rng involved was in your favor, because there was a chance the content you happened to be running also had a Light buff.
Pagos isn't a grind, it's the most artificial forms of extending content's life. It's punishment.

I don't think the logos system will make the bad rng any more tolerable. I don't really use the logo system in Pyros to begin with. What make Pyros more tolerable to me is that the items I want can be achieved there in a reasonable manner.

And while we're at it, let people from Anemos sell/trade the dinosaur/RDM barding too, since we can sell/trade the Eldthurs and samurai barding.

Not related, but I'd like to be able to desynth all the clothing and furniture items too. I don't know why it's not desynthable and it bothers me that the only thing I can do with the stuff is vendor trash it.

Besides, "you should have to put some effort into it" is already being applied - to the relic. You know. The item Eureka was created for? Shoehorning nonsensical stuff like emotes and crafting items into the mix was just a desperate bid to get people into the content, and it hasn't worked. There's been one copy up on Exodus for sale for the last month+, for 500 mil, which nobody is buying. Before that, ~7 were sold. Someone I know who took 4 relics through Pagos never saw it drop.

It's ridiculous.
