Bulwark I wouldn't mind losing. Flash...maybe. It's still useful in dungeons but if they increase the enmity on total eclipse and let us learn it at a lower level it could replace Flash. I wouldn't want to lose shield swipe though, we don't have a tone of ogcds as is.
They should double down on the support aspect of the pld with the next extension, give us a battle raise, give us less dps, but a way to boost the dps of the party and/or a way to lessen the ennemy defenses (even though I think it would suit drk better). And please, do something about tempered will cooldown, a 3min cooldown, why??? Other classes have the same thing but on a 30s~1min cooldown. Rework or remove the skill for something else, I'll take anything really. A new way to use our bar would be good too, a new spell would be cool as well, not sure what, an dmg aoe maybe?
I'd like a gap closer where you charge something with your shield raised blocking while you go and then when you hit you slam it with your shield and stun it for a couple of seconds. Other than that i'm unsure. I like where PLD is atm.
I'd like to see tanks end up in a similar setup to melee dps, where every job has their own gap closer and shares a common role action that negates knockback. Tempered Will should be moved over to the role actions section with a 60 s recast.
One important point: Shadowbringers is going to eliminate TP. This means that both Total Eclipse and Flash will cost MP. This even further lowers the value of Flash. I think this is a pretty good opportunity, though. Remove Flash, move Total Eclipse to level 6 and have it generate enmity as a replacement. Bring in a new magical AoE that has synergy with Requiescat for big AoE damage. I feel that this would make PLD a lot more fun to play in dungeons.
Other things that need to be done: Rework Oath gauge generation and spenders, review the recasts on Sentinel and Bulwark (these are both longer than they need to be), and make Divine Veil's shield apply to your entire party without requiring a healing proc.
What I would kind of like to see is for them to normalize the recast times of the big mitigation abilities to 120s since Shadow Wall and Vengeance already are at that, and then give each one a flavored twist unique to the job.
Sentinel can keep the higher straight damage reduction and slightly shorter duration, Vengeance can keep the slightly longer duration and damage dealt on being hit and Shadow Wall should get a uniquely DRK flavored extra effect and potentially a slightly longer duration like Vengeance.
So nudge them slightly closer in one way but reinforce each one having a distinct flavor.
It definitely needs a shorter duration, perhaps 120s, and could potentially have it's block% or duration lowered slightly if necessary for balance.
In tandem there really needs to be an implementation of more synergy and interplay between blocking and PLD's other abilities.

Id like to see and OGCD ability called Paladins Wall or something. It works like bide in pokemon. Your toon is animation locked for 5 seconds with their shield raised just absorbing damage taken. At the end of the 5 seconds, you do the shirld bash animation but there is a concusive effect that goes out 10-12 yalms that does 2x the damage done to you.
Damage falls off the more enemies there are. 100% damage for 1st mob hit, 80% for second, 65% for third, and 40% for all others after that.
IDK if it would work but it would be a cool ability.
I would like more Holy Sword skills, such as Hallowed bolt and several skills from FFtactics holy knight. Bulwark needs to be reworked.
However with TP going away both DRK and PLD are getting a rework.
That would be cool in theory but when a 100k Tankbuster comes in you'd return it with 200k. i hope total eclipse and Flash swap places with leveling and Total eclipse just has the aggro effect and Flash becomes a damaging spell that works with requiscat
