I really wanted to play this game with my fiancé during the free trial because we haven't played this in a long time just cause I think monthly subs to any game is dumb. But we downloaded this game to play for the free trial and then you have maintenance during the free trial?

That makes no sense to me when you are trying to attract more players to your game and you only give people 4 days to play but then you have maintenance for one of those days.

You guys need to use your brains seriously....

Maintenance happens, it's a MMORPG. Trial version no longer limited to 4 days but is capped at lvl 35.

Doesn't sound like you would be re-subbing anyway, so theres no real loss on their part. Also, this is only to allow people who haven't played in awhile to take a look at whats new. This is not a free trial.

I'd also like to point out the maintenance is during the night, when most people except for the west coast are unaffected.

I think they’re talking about the Free Login Campaign. Not the Free Trial.
Login is limited to 4 days (96 hours) from the day they first log in, and ending on Day 4 at 11:59pm their time.

The free login campaign does come with the warning that there may be maintenance during your login period.

The campaign runs for over a month and people can be making use of it at any point. They can't just put all maintenance on hold for that long.
