    General Eureka Tips

Know when to hold your AoE skills. Extra damage is nice, but not if it aggros a powerful mob that was pulled in. If there is the slightest chance it will aggro, don't use it.

Understand how aggro works. If someone is on a mob's aggro list and you perform an action on that person or interact with them, you'll be put on the aggro list as well. Mobs don't reset unless all targets on their aggro list are dead or the mob is pulled outside of its designated area.

If you aggro a mob on the way to a NM and the mob has not reset yet, let it kill you just outside of where the players are gathered. If you're in a party with someone that can res, they'll get you. If you aren't paired with someone that can res, use the "say" or "yell" channels and ask for a res.

If you use the "shout" channel to request a res and you get one, indicate in the "shout" channel that you received a res so other players don't waste their time making it over to your position.

Mobs stay still for a little while after moving. If many mobs are blocking your path, wait until they turn to directions that favor you.

Most mobs aggro by sight, but some can aggro to sound, magic use or low hp. Regardless of aggro trigger, you can also aggro mobs one level lower than you and up if you get inside their hitbox (sleeping dragons are an exception and will only aggro to sound).

In a party, all members receive NM/FATE credit equal to the party's total if they hit the NM/FATE target at least once. If you're a RDM, SMN or healer in a party and your attacks are doing almost nothing to the boss, remove yourself from all aggro lists so your mana regens at out-of-combat rates, allowing you to res more often. You can remove yourself from all aggro lists by either dying or moving far enough away.

There are macros for level sync (/levelsync) and for turning the elemental wheel (/magialeft and /magiaright)

Take advantage of the lack of testing that went into Eureka:

Bunny FATES are very easy to get gold on. You can wait until the final target has half of their hp gone before starting to attack it solo and you'll still get gold in most cases. The chance to get a bunny only depends on having a gold rating.

Enemy attacks have a limit to how many players they can hit. If you can't make it to a safe spot, position yourself so as many players as possible are hit by the attack before you to increase the chance of the attack not affecting you.

If mobs have been pulled into a NM or FATE area, you can unsync, down them and sync back. If you're about to get hit by a powerful attack that might kill you, unsync so it doesn't.

Rewards for killing mobs are based on your level as the mob dies and there is a slight delay between when a mob dies and when you get rewarded. If you pull a mob into a NM/FATE zone, you can get it down to critical hp and then sync to the FATE as it dies, allowing you to be rewarded as though you were at the synced level.

For Pyros, mitigative logograms can drop from lv 43 fire sprites and fundamental logograms can drop from lv 43 lightning sprites. If Graffiacane is up and it's heat waves or if Flauros is up and there are storms... (Note: If you're in a party, all members need to be at lvl 43 or lower at the time of death. If someone else is unsynced at the moment, it won't work)

Keep a level sync/desync macro handy. If you're higher level than a FATE, it's great for taking less damage. Griffacane in particular has a STUPIDLY HUGE cone attack sometimes. Don't want to take a lot of damage? Just desync (note: that particular move does still cause the confusion debuff, so if you're a physical damage dealer, you may wind up killing some of your party members, but hey that's part of the fun right? Mages are safe, because they hit like a small child)! Griffacane is slamming the ground and you're taking damage? Just desync! Tanks doing a shitty job and you've just pulled hate on XYZ? Just desync!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, KEEP SOME EUREKA POTIONS HANDY AND PUT THEM ON YOUR HOTBAR. You get buy 99 of them from the NPC for like... 30k. You're not always going to have a healer in your party, and most RDMs, myself included, don't give two shits about whether you're taking damage. Heal yourself! Poisoned by the scorpion in the bunny FATE? Heal yourself! Took a bunch of damage during XYZ but aren't quite dead? Heal yourself! Poisoned by adds that someone dragged in during the scorpion FATE? Heal yourself! Just got raised? HEAL YOURSELF! "I can cure because I'm a RDM" but now you're low on MP? Gobble that potion!

If you have spare Feint logograms and you want to be particularly helpful, use the skill on the Wind-based NMs! These NMs have increased evasion, and as most of us know, missing an attack during a combo REALLY sucks. I know at lot of people, myself included, never got very many fundamental logos, so most of us don't actually have Feints to spare. Which NMs? The book owl guy on a chair, and that minotaur-looking guy that spawns "Audience" adds.

If you're lv50 and you died in a really shitty spot (i.e. that eastern cave for a bunny chest)... just eat the death and delevel instead of bitching in shout. Is it a 12 million exp loss? Yes, but there's nothing a lv49 can't do that a lv50 can. You can still ride your mount, and you can still get full loot from lv50 NMs. I did it last night, and nearly got all the exp back with a single trip to Penny.

    (1) At the very least keep Eureka potions on your hotbar. This will save you quite a few times. Optional: I also keep potions that also heal Poison and Paralisys on my hotbar as well because you can't always count on a healer to Esuna you.

    (2) If you're playing as a Red Mage doing a lot of Rezing highly consider taking Rejuvenate in Pyros as your Logos Action. It heals 50% of your MP and 500 TP per cast. You can create it using a "Wisdom of the Martialist + Wisdom of the Aetherweaver + Cure L". This will allow you to become a Rez machine gun.

    (3) In Pyros when you're doing your lvl 50 quest take the Stealth logos action and use it then hit the walk key "/" to easily bypass all the NPC's guarding the area(s) you need to go. It's extremely slow, but almost nothing will see you or hear you this way. Slower is still faster than dead though!

Don't have pets out when moving about, especially fairies. If someone has a monster on their enmity list, and the fairy heals them, it would cause the monster to be on your list as well. Putting a fairy on "steady" does not prevent it from healing. Either get use to de-summoning your pet when you need to move, or get in the habit of placing pets so they de-summon themselves when you move to far away.

    Sadly unlike Anemos/Pagos

The Eureka potions don't keep up with the mob damage in Pyros. It'll help a bit, but don't rely on them.

    Also question:

When do you get your 2nd set of logos actions?

Cant find the exit to Eureka?
    Wondering why you even entered?

Go to the Duty tab and click leave. Its a way faster and saves you a teleport.

I just want people to stop dragging 100 mobs into the FATE because they managed to aggro every single thing in Eureka on their way there.

Having Eureka potions handy is definitely a great tip.

Ninja and Hide is useful for *most* monsters when tracking down your bunny chest in Pyros. Most, is the keyword there lol gargoyles and tomes are two that I know break your Hide.
