Eureka, Square-Enix still don't get i

Making Eureka the only way to get to a relic weapon is one tough. I'd love to make one, it's a nice long term goal but Eureka is simply put, so unfun that not only me but my friends also basically abandoned our relics.

This is my main problem with Eureka. It gatekeeps the relic quest. Which means that if you don't enjoy the Eureka playstyle, you're also essentially locked out of that quest. I always enjoyed the relic before. It was a relatively casual way to win a decent weapon, and it required relatively regular play if you wanted to make it in a reasonable timeframe. And most of the stuff it required you to do was the stuff that was already part of the base game, the stuff I enjoy and bought this game for in the first place. So basically, to do the relic all I had to do was play more of the stuff I already enjoyed. Eureka took all that away. As a result, this is the first expansion where I'm no longer playing regularly even between patches.

People are literally just tired of Diadem reborn, again and again and again.
Someone at Fanfest needs to tell them to please stop it already and find different
ways to gain relic or other stuff. It's sad because they pour so much time on content
no one wants to do.

I think they dug too deep or something, not sure why else they would pretty much cover their ears on the feedback about this.
I feel bad for Relic Runners and people who wanting hairstyles and other nice things locked behind these things.
Fun factor trumps all for me. Can't be fooked to get Relic then and as much as a I want new hair I just can't stomach it.

I agree eureka is the perfect example of what not to do.
Not only is the grind in this content poorly done with chaining and fates that take a while to spawn.
It has these dumb quests scattered around that's put in the most dumb locations.

A bunch of people who ignore you when you need a raise forcing you to drop a level because everyone else is either afk or too busy trying to grind just to be done with this shitty content.
I understand it requires people to communicate but, why should we always need to constantly rely on that for everything we do? especially being from an Na server where people are a bit more selfish here.
I hope next expansion they just go back to dungeons and trials cause I don't think they are capable of doing this type of content yet.
