Not really—some post with alts or on alternate accounts so that they aren’t harassed in-game for unpopular opinions. Or simply for privacy.
Them making statements you disagree with doesn’t make them a troll, and that’s not addressing their argument. Neither is erecting strawmen.
If you know a way to make FATE farming or mindless mob zerging fun or exciting, please do share it. Because that’s all Eureka is: AFKing during a train and then zerging down FATE bosses. Unless I had friends with me in Anemos, I was bored out of my skull in there.
People can participate in something as a means to an end—in this case, the “something” is Eureka and the “end” is the Relic, glamour, housing items, a hairstyle, an emote, etc.; take your pick from the carrots floating about in there. That doesn’t mean that they enjoy doing the “something” though.

In my opinion, the problem isn't Eureka. It's why people play Eureka. What I gather from my guild members who actually play Eureka (I have never touched it - not even Anemos), is that they feel pressured to play it for the relic.
Why? That has nothing to do with SQEX or whether Eureka is good or bad. It only has to do with one thing. And that is...
Gamers' obession with material reward and progression.
There is almost no reason to grind out top tier gear in this game. You can take on all the content and clear it just fine at MinIL using gear with poor stat balance. If people saw things in terms of fighting for the sake of fighting because it's fun, then there would be no issue. Instead, it's the players themselves and their obsession with grinding out the best gear in the game so they can kill things faster and/or look better that ultimately encourages SQEX to lock relics behind grind. Because it keeps those kind of players playing.
As for me, I don't care. I enjoy the game for it's immaterial value. If I clear a fight, I don't try to go faster for the sake or rewards. All that does is shorten the fun. And why would I shorten it? I'm playing to play. Not to wait around. Instead, I try to make it harder. To challenge myself.
There is SO much content in this game and people are complaining about how boring Eureka is. Well you bring it on yourself. If you're bored with it, go have fun. Because isn't that why you're playing? Or maybe you should reevaluate whether you actually enjoy Eureka or not. Because if you're doing it, there's clearly something about it you enjoy.

Hell half my guild was doing it through Pagos simply because they wanted the Relic. Not a soul actually enjoyed the content, though Anemos inspired apathy compared to the outright hatred that Pagos brought about. But if they wanted the relic, they had to do it. Now with so many other items being gated behind Eureka the same thing applies. If people want the hairstyles, emotes, housing items, recolored job outfits, and more and don't want to break the bank at the marketboard they need to engage with the content. That doesn't mean they like it however. Many people do PVP for the rewards as well and hate every second of it. PVP however at least has the benefit of a daily roulette and being blissfully short by comparison. It also never had every housing item a patch had to offer dumped into it to entice people to do it either.
Personally I refuse to be a statistic for content I dislike. I hated Anemos and haven't touched Eureka since. Watching my friends engage with the content and viewing other people engaging with the content only further cemented my stance to stay the hell away from it. However I can already hear the people typing about how that somehow makes my opinion less valid, even though the default response from apologists to disliking the content is not to do it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Please do share where I can find all this wonderful content. Running the same linear styled dungeons with enemies so easy, I don't even bother with tank stance anymore gets old after a while. Crafting? I have max level crafters and actively craft. There's only so much crafting you can do though, especially when new recipes only come out every 6-7 months. Battle content? I've done it all multiple times now. Quests? They're all one and done, so once I finish off what I do have left, there won't be any longevity there. I could go on but this idea FFXIV has a wealth of content just doesn't add up unless you play the game at a very casual pace. I won't say it has nothing to do but you basically have to like almost everything to some degree or you're going to find the game stretches itself far too thin.
As for the relic and Eureka. People do things they don't enjoy simply for the end result. Business models are built upon that very premise. I enjoy very little about Pagos, but I'll make it work because I'm curious enough about Pyros to slog through, eventually. Another factor for people is they don't trust the relic will even be obtainable come 5.0 given how Eureka is not solo-friendly and no one will touch it afterwards. There's a very real possibility these relics will be borderline impossible to obtain. For some people, that alone motivates them to get it even if they dislike the content.

Befre unsynced content was revealed in Heavensward, people had the exact same fear about lvl50 content, especially for the relic trials and the two 8-man dungeons. The same could be done in Eureka where you remove the lvl/ilvl/elvl restriction, so that, once you're max elvl (not that difficult), you can wreck any monster in the zones. Removing the restriction for NM would basically makes them work like Hunt Marks, allowing an easy low-man kill too (Especially since the "top-NM" item will probably be buyable with crystals).

Alone it is really difficult, since you barely can solo mob of your level. Most DpS don't have much auto-sustain outside of eureka potion and logos Heal skill, the first won't do much against a High level NM the other require some rabbit farming before even starting to level and yeah chasing a rabbit chest at level 20/35 is as safe as russian roulette with only one slot empty. Sure with the trai nto wreck everything in your path leveling is easy, but it need a cerain amout of people with a quite high level to be efficient and fast.
And trash mob give trash xp, so engaging to solo I could cry.
ilv decap won't do much since you can barely dent the life bar of a too high elv monster/fate. 30 kill chain all alone is quite difficult too on max elv monster.

Soloing same level mobs in Anemos is super easy for lots of jobs. For the others, soloing mobs two elvls below is perfectly doable. Basically, any job can solo most of the challenge log each week. And as a duo, it will be a joke. Once one gained some elvl, uncapping them for every zones and when facing NMs will allow one to gather crystals easily (And morer eXp). NMs (In Anemos, at least) are already killable in a party in a near empty instance, and you can't even overelvl them yet.
Since Eureka also doesn't work like other instances, we might even see the ability of summoning our chocobo in there, providing any backup one could need to solo in any job.

Yes, if Eureka doesn't exist, I may already quit,
Outside Eureka, the only things I am doing now is :
1.Burn 4 Alphascape bosses down in 30mins each week, because the ilv380 gears will stay until 5.0.
2.Finish Custom Deliveries in 15mins, then sell the Craft materias for fast money,350-400K & I've 4 alts doing this, so it's 1.2m-1.5m Gil in 1 hour each week.
3.Wait 3 months, then finish the new quests in 1 hour
I've capped all jobs (for what? I don't know) except CUL
I have 3 large houses, 2 medium houses, they are useless, I've 90m Gil ,I've bought all glamour that I want in the market board.
(I can't believe some people still complain they are poor in this game, it's the easiest I've seen in a MMO)
I just don't care the other contents & gears in this game anymore.
Eureka is the best content in this game now, there's an adventure feeling, but very little.
Eureka is still far below our expectation, it's still in Single player mode because it's instanced & cross server, no much player interaction,
the relic is still no value, only for glamour, the gameplay is very monotonous.
it's even worst than the FFXIV1.0beta open world, ,you've something to do & you can meet new friends there, and the open world has more life.
SE toned down the content a lot, the best Relic quest in 2.0 is the first stage, it was a toned down version of the 1.2x relic quest,
Everything is so simple, shallow, irrelevant & lack the longevity now, and while in game, it feels so lonely, like playing a single player smartphone game!
