Worst part: there will be a 4th Eureka lol.
So sad, no new Content since release of Alphascape. (i don't count Eureka)
SE didn't learn from Diadem, and this is the result...
Btw: why isn't eureka no on the openworld? Just why SE?

Most Pagos instances have had quite a few people in shout complaining just how much they hate the content which is understandable as the Pagos design was just spiteful and I see very little positivity in the runsThe loud minority refers to the small amount of community who visits the forums regularly. The majority refers to the FFXIV players who don't actively participate here. You do know that the majority of players don't visit these forums right?
I've seen a few bash Eureka in shout, and that is usually when it was first released. Other than that it is mostly filled with people chatting or looking for party/raises lol. And every instance I have been in around peak times is nearly full. Overnight hours are still populated when I am able to play. So, I can't really argue with he said she said but, I'm sorry it appears so empty for you :/
In regards to your comment about subs on the decline: I don't have the numbers so I'm trusting that you are correct in that statement, but this is common and expected now that Stormblood is coming to a close, and new video games are being released almost every other week.
You know, given the overall positive reception of Pyros (in comparison, it's still Eureka) I feel like a very large portion of the hate and vitriol is STILL coming from Pagos. I for one keep avoiding that place like the plague. If your player base would rather spend 10 of the 15 levels of Pagos in Anemos instead theres a serious problem.
This is not my main account,
I use other account to post on the forum,
because I am afraid that I will get banned if I talk too much on the forum
I used to complaint XIV1.0 on the forum too, and thanks to Tanaka, he didn't ban me....!
he's one of my favorite game developer, I've played all MANA series.
Some XI players blamed Tanaka because XIV1.0 was an unfinish product, but I think they were not asking him to leave the company....!
there's something that only Tanaka knows how to do it right, I really miss him & wish him come back.
Believe it or not, XIV1.2x had a better forum, better game direction, better contents,
the game had a better future & a much better, friendly & helpful community than what we have now

I did nothing but Bunny Fates this morning with a group of 7 people. For some reason the instance locked itself at that point. We had a blast.
"We want bunny suits for guys!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Ishgard housing!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Viera!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Cloud's motorcycle!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Blue Mage!"-- OK! ✅
"We want the ability to earn past Feast rewards!" - HAHA no that's sacred.

Reminder that 20 full instances = 2,880 people, which is per datacentre, it's not just per world. There's anywhere between 5k and 20k characters per server.
20 is a number I pulled for an example. I don't know how many Eureka instances there are at any given time, nor do I know of a way to find out. However, I continually run into the same folks in general chat from day to day; sure that's just anecdotal evidence but there are 11 servers on Primal, and even assuming 5k players per server (which is the range of the very lowest-pop servers, not the higher) that's a total of 55,000 players. I would think that if the "silent majority" was playing Eureka, I'd find it harder to run into the same 50 people over and over again.
Again, I'll say it's all anecdotal, but I promise you that SE is not nerfing the content because 200 people are crying and 150,000 players enjoy it. They're a business above anything and they're going to do what they need to keep content moving.

They definitely should make Pagos less annoying, though. Make NM's spawn as often as Anemos and Pyros (less monsters to kill or something. It's insane how often Pyros NM's spawn compared to Pagos), remove the item requirement to get Gold on Hakutaku, buff the lights gained even more and of course, the QoL that is Level Sync.
People still complain about Pagos in shout/party chat. People might be doing it (again), but they are clearly not enjoying it.
If only it were so simple. Surely you KNOW that players far and wide enjoy the relic weapons. SE knows it too, and they also know that this content would be dead on arrival without a big enough carrot. They know because that's exactly what happened the first two times they made it. That's why they put the relic in there to strongarm the playerbase majority in there too.
And before you say "lol just raid bro", I'll remind you that raiders collect the relic too. I've lost count of how many "Legends" and "Ultimate Legends" I've seen in that place, including some very big names in the raiding scene that are far more skilled than I'll ever be.
That's probably my biggest gripe with Eureka; the blatant dishonesty. Now they're putting hairstyles, and popular furniture and fancier mounts in there too? What's next? Blue Mage weapons in bunny chests that will unlock the job pre expansion? I wouldn't put it past them at this point.

I know I am in the minority but I actually like Eureka. Yes it has it flaws, but so does every new piece of content. Anemos was WAAAAAY to easy, yet people bitched about it anyway. Pagos was rough, I will admit, but it was a nice change to actually add some difficulty. I think they went to the complete opposite extreme with Pagos however. Pyros to me, is just right. It's Anemos Exp with Pagos mobs. And for everyone complaining about "all the rewards being locked behind it", they really need to go back and look at PoTD and HoH. I do agree that the layers of rng behind how to obtain said rewards is a bit steep, but don't blame the entirety of the content on RNG.
A lot of people in this game get mad as soon as anything isn't a "gimme" hand out. First of all, just like PoTD and HOH or Diadem, Eureka is OPTIONAL content. You do not have to do it. If you don't like it there are plenty of other ways of gearing and obtaining the rewards. "OMG The Hair and Mount are locked behind Eureka" Welp sorry to tell you There was hair and a mount locked behind PoTD and HoH as well. I understand why a lot of people do not like it, and that is fine, but for so many people to be so up in arms about Eureka like it is the single worst experience in their entire lives is really pushing it. Yes it is not for everyone, but neither are Extreme Primals, Savage, or Ultimates.
I like Eureka from the stand point that I, as a working adult, don't have a lot of time to learn Savage or do all the latest End Game content, but with Eureka I can set a goal for myself. I don't have to wait for a pf, or watch a video, or spend countless hours bashing my face into the wall trying to learn a fight. All I need is time and patience. I get in a party, and even if it's just a glorified Fate Train Instance, I get to chat it up with people while working towards something for me. The Mount and Hair are just extras. If I get them cool, if not, well then I can either buy them, or they weren't meant for me.
