Eureka, Square-Enix still don't get it

*sorry my English is not good

I like XI & XIV 1.2x, but hate Eureka, because:

1.The greatest rewards in a MMO are meeting new friends, working & creating bonds with others,
but you get none of these in Eureka, because it's instanced & cross server.

2.The gameplay in Eureka is so..sorry my English, It's so poor that I even don't know how to describe it,
idle in the town, when the Fate pops, then run to it like a headless chicken, mind is dead.

3.The gear progression system is broken, I've already got my ilv390 weapon, by spending 10mins x 7 weeks in Alphascape,
But I am still working on the ilv385? in Eureka, and it's so lonely & boring.

4.Working on gears is meaningless in this game, many people have said that.

5.The only thing that matters in this game is glamour.... But the new gears are ugly.
playing a game for glamour,a smartphone game can also do that, that's why so many (95%) players have quit.

6.Development budget is not the issue,
XI & XIV1.2x had much less budget, and XIII & XV are so expensive to make,
the issues are the game design & direction.

Same. Oddly enough. The awfulness of the place stimulated a fair bit of comradery.

Not to say it couldn't be better and still have that much and more social-ness; it was merely the silver lining in an otherwise heavy-metals-polluted lake.

I mean can you blame people? Everyone's eyes are on the Fanfest in order to get the final validation if they wanna continue playing this game and Eureka is easy to point fingers at since it's flawed content that was poorly designed, everyone wants that carrot on a stick. Nor does anyone want repeats of Eureka and wanna be heard as well which hopefully the FFXIV devs and reps read and get feedback.

People are literally just tired of Diadem reborn, again and again and again.
Someone at Fanfest needs to tell them to please stop it already and find different
ways to gain relic or other stuff. It's sad because they pour so much time on content
no one wants to do.

I think they dug too deep or something, not sure why else they would pretty much cover their ears on the feedback about this.
I feel bad for Relic Runners and people who wanting hairstyles and other nice things locked behind these things.
Fun factor trumps all for me. Can't be fooked to get Relic then and as much as a I want new hair I just can't stomach it.

Eureka was really, really bad. Not only did SE create another instanced giant space fail. They shut out the casual playerbase with the relic weapon.

This Fanfest has perhaps the most pressure on it out of the 3.

What gets is that in the end, everything they do boils down to FATE farming. Yokai, Diadem, Eureka, all of it is glorified FATE farming. Don't you think we got enough of that in North Thanalan? Worst of all, they keep putting bigger and shinier carrots on it. They already got the relic! They're probably cooking up a way to drag pure raiders into this mess too. Upgrade your raid weapon to its final state by fate farming for a low drop rate material. Please look forward to it

I still can't believe people are making hate threads for Euereka. It's simple you don't like it don't play it. But also don't come to the forums and say how much you hate it. For everyone who hates it there is a person that likes it. So OP I don't know where you are getting the 95% of the player base have quit because of it . Because that is total bs.

I still can't believe that there are people complaining, about people complaining about things which they don't like in a game, for which they pay a subscription for, on top of purchasing the base game and expansions.

I currently refuse to do the garbage content that is Eureka. I would not mind it so much if Eureka was meant to cater to some niche audience within the game. However,that doesn't appear to be the case. A lot of dev time and resources was put into Eureka when they could have been used elsewhere to create content which is more enjoyable and doesn't draw so much hate.

Also, while OP may or may not have statistics to back up their claim, where are your statistics for this:
