I still don't get why people who don't want to level don't just buy jump potions???
Well starting at level 50 or 60 for the next job is also an economy of a number of class quests. Don't forget that all current jobs will jump up to level 80, each "requiring" around 5 job quests, and like it or not, the devs put a lot of effort in them (lore, scenario...)
The game offers way to see the class at lower levels by it's synch system, if that is what you want. Leveling is not the point of the game as other people said.
However I'd like it if the devs had in mind those kinda frequent "jump back" when you do a roulette and have your job kit incomplete. This is extra painful in RDM and SAM under 50, these jobs are clearly not designed for it. And most of the other jobs do suffer from it too (not having both tank stances at 50 for WAR, not having heating system for MCH)
Noone is stopping you from enjoying the classic levelling experience. Just queue for low level dungeons if you think spamming 3 keys for 30 minutes is fun.
I don't think it's understood what OP is actually asking for. They want to be to start a new job (from lvl 1) and then get the full amount of experience to take it from lvl 1 to max level without starting half way there (like at 30 for HW and 50 for SB). It's not about being low level in a dungeon, but they just want to get the most out of the leveling experience.
I think it's very well understood. What is probably not understood is why someone wouldn't be ok with doing the same things he would do as if starting from level 1. He can just pretend that he's lvl 1 instead of lvl 50/60 and spam a low level dungeon a few times before moving to the next one. This way he can still "get the most out" of the levelling experience.I don't think it's understood what OP is actually asking for. Fact: most people don't like this game's levelling experience. The combat system starts being interesting close to level cap. It already was bad enough in ARR...but after SB pruning it's just painful. Again, if he likes it, he's free to experience it...just by running low level stuff. But most sane people won't do that.

That's really not the same at all, still don't think you understand. If i want to start a job from lvl 1 and gain all the experience up to lvl 80, that's what I want to do (or OP). Being level 50/60 and syncing down to a low level is not the same at all because you are not getting the gaining the same amount of experience as half of it has already been handed to you.
Opinions are not facts. Some players like the leveling experience or want to get the most of it, that's all.Fact: most people don't like this game's levelling experience.
I guess you believe that seeing the exp bar fill has come kind of intrinsic utility and provide satisfaction in itself. I personally think that's not the case, and I don't see how any rational person could think that. That's really not the same at all, still don't think you understand. Saying what the prevalent opinion is is not an opinion. You can make a survey asking people to state whether they like levelling in this game or not. If 80% of the participants answer that they do not like it, saying that most players don't like levelling is a fact, not an opinion. And since for many years now I've seen players complaining about the levelling experience in the game both on these forums and on reddit (and I saw virtually noone praising it), I'm pretty sure that players generally dislike levelling in ffxiv is a fact.
